Although this restaurant came highly recommended by our friends, our experience was ultimately very disappointing.

The starters were good & set a positive tone for the evening. However, things went downhill once the main courses arrived. The filet mignon portion was surprisingly small for the price, which was quite disappointing. The chicken parmigiano was decent but nothing special.

The biggest issue was the lobster linguini. The lobster tail was extremely difficult to remove from the shell, making it frustrating to eat. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, she kindly offered to replace it, but unfortunately, the second dish had the exact same problem. I ended up sending it back. When I explained the issue, I was told the lobster was fresh & cooked perfectly, which made the situation even more confusing.

Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the recommendations. Considering the price, the quality simply wasn't there. Unfortunately, I don't think I would return.

Très belle expérience

J'ai vraiment adoré le homard avec les pâtes. La sauce était délicieuse & la cuisson était parfaite. Je recommande avec plaisir.

La salle privée est un vrai plus. Elle crée un espace idéal pour organiser des événements plus intimes dans une belle ambiance.

Beaucoup de stationnement, ce qui rend la visite encore plus simple.

Went there to eat after my wedding day.All went super amazing festive ambiance & stellar servirces. Food is really good & really affordable for the quality of food. We had a great time & no one was disappointed. Would recommend & retunr again.

Nous avons organisé un 30e anniversaire à ce restaurant. Un suivi serré a été fait avant la date pour s'assurer du menu, du nombre de personne, de nos attentes, etc. Service excellent & serveuse à l'écoute & surtout, souriante & efficace. Nous avons manqué de rien. Sincèrement, je recommande les yeux fermés. La nourriture est bonne aussi. Merci à toute l'équipe pour service & ambiance. 🎉🙏

I ate there on a Saturday evening, got there around 9 great retro restaurant themed like a ship, there was an accordion player that sang, I had the lobster with pasta with escargot & shrimp as entree, good food & atmosphere the service was quick & the waitress was attentive, I would recommend & I plan to return, you have to make a reservation which was pretty easy on the website.or by phone.

Amazing 6 course meal for a birthday gathering.

We had so much food! bread, pasta, salad, prosciutto, roasted vegetables, calamari & a main course of either salmon, steak or lamb.

The staff was amazing & the atmosphere was great. A little tight as there were alot of people but the accordian player really added to the overall atmosphere. It felt more like a family gathering than a restaurant.

The bathrooms could use a renovation but were clean.

I personally loved everything but the salad & I found the pasta a bit doughy but the pasta sauce was tasty. Everything else was fresh, plentiful & delicious...especially the lamb. My wife didn't like the rice that came with the salmon & she also found the pasta to be just ok. She said the salmon was amazing & really liked the roasted vegetables.

I cannot comment on the cost as we were treated to dinner but the overall experience was great. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a great evening of food & entertainment. Our meal was almost 4 hours long as there was 6 courses plus some time for tea.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Le Pirate de Laval. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm & inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The staff was attentive & knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. The menu had a diverse selection, & each dish we tried was bursting with flavor & expertly presented. I especially recommend the "assiette du pêcheur". It's clear that quality ingredients & attention to detail are top priorities here. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
