Went there with my wife & youngest & we loved each item we got from the crispy chicken burger to the popcorn poutine. We also had the steak poutine which was the best dish. The owner greeted us personally & even gave us complimentary soup & crackers & water bottles. The atmosphere is of a nice diner. We live in DDO & would do the drive to Verdun to go back for the food!
Wonderful service, the complimentary carrot soup was great for warming up. The montreal steak poutine was probably the best poutine I've had. My girlfriend had the popcorn chicken poutine & the chicken was absolutely amazing, very sweet & crunchy. Please try this place if your in town. 5 stars!

A voir les avis Google j'étais sceptique & je me demandais si ce n'étais pas de faux commentaires. & bien je rajoute mon avis pour dire que la poutine est vraiment bonne & les prix raisonnables. Je n'aurais pas eu l'idée de rajouter une sauce algérienne sur la poutine avec steak & pourtant c'est super. Le jeune qui nous a accueilli parlait tellement doucement que je me suis demandé si je devenais sourd mais était souriant & gentil. Il nous a offert un potage au poireaux le temps de faire notre commande à emporter & l'attention était vraiment très agréable. Ne changez rien les 2 messieurs qui étaient là ce dimanche, je reviendrais!
My partner ordered Smash burger with poutine & I ordered Montreal steak poutine. They are absolutely delicious! Affordable price for generous portion of food. Excellent service that you can feel the owner put his heart into what he makes.
Pictures don't do this quaint little diner justice. Looking at the picture we took, it doesn't make me salivate for this meal, but trust me when I say you will remember your burger, not the presentation. Short & simple menu is all you need. Let's face it, you're here for a juicy burger or a nice warm poutine, not to spend an hour looking at a menu. Owner will greet you, get you seated either at the diner counter or the tables, & bring you a nice warm homemade soup that you didn't even know you needed. Don't worry, you're not paying for it, & you'll soon find out you DID need it, as it warms your soul. We tried the regular smash burger, the wellington smash burger (which is a double with bacon & pickles) & the montreal-steak poutine. The beef in all 3 was tender & juicy, everything was perfect to satisfy our weekend beef-burger craving! Portions are decent, you'll probably need only 1 meal per person, but treat yourself to an extra for takeout & thank me later... This is the kind of small business i habe no problem endorsing. It's not the prettiest, it's not classy, it's what your stomach is asking for & you won't regret indulging.
J' ai commandé un sous marin au steak & c' était délicieux! La place est très propre & j' ai reçu un excellent service Viviane & son équipe. Je vous recommande fortement aller les voir....

The burgers were delicious, tastes like a steak quality meat! Just the right amount of sloppiness to really satisfy that cheeseburger craving 😋 New best burger in Verdun 👑 Stopped by after a nice fall walk & had a small soup while waiting for our food, was surprisingly good!
Absolutely delicious! We had Wellington Smash Burgers & poutines, the burger was huge, the sauce was amazing & the fries were awesome with the good gravy! I guess it was the owner who was cooking & serving, he was such a nice guy & even started us off with a super tasty soup! We'll definitely be going back again, I can't wait to try the Montreal Steak poutine next! Highly recommend this restaurant!
The Restaurant was clean, the staff was super nice, & most importantly the food is excellent. I tried the burger & the philly steak, both were delicious. The portion was big & the fries were great.
Great food & simple menu, those who remember the Lanterna will not be disappointed! Everything was made fresh, we had the simple Smash Burger & the Poutine Steak Montreal & both were excellent. I've been coming here for years & the new management have earned me coming back for many more!
