While irradiating a hole in the wall aura, this humble restaurant offers a simple but delicious menu of burgers, fries, poutines, & a few other items. The menu is tight, the choices may be few, but you are guaranteed tasty freshness in both ingredients & preparation.
The poutines & burgers are really good & prices are decent. As of the time of writing this review, the house offers a soup, fries, smash burger & a soda can for 13,99$. Good value.
The place is clean & offers comfortable seats. The clientele is typical'Verdun' but it leads an extra eccentric charm to the place.
It took me 15 years to come here, I plan to make it a regular haunt.

10/10. If you are looking for a place to eat some good poutine, this is the spot!! It was super fresh & tasty. I also ate their soup & smash burger & it was great. They greeted me with the best hospitality. Will be coming back when I'm in the area again.
I was so impressed with Le Petit Wellington. We came in for two poutines, a treat after a long day of walking & we were treated like kings. They served us soup while we waited - it was delicious. The poutines were nothing short of stellar. Fresh potatoes, plenty of cheese & a delicious gravy. Very impressed & we will be back!
The food was so amazing. The owner is super respectful & the food tastes fresh. Their service is very good as well as the restaurant it is such a comfy spot. Will definitely come back.

The smash burgers are excellent. They're fresh, juicy, & perfectly cooked. They come with fresh toppings & a nice sauce that ties it all together. The atmosphere is that of a classic lunch counter & the service is super friendly. Definitely going back!
The Montreal Steak Poutine was AMAZING!!! I also tried the smash burger. It was a classic delicious burger & their fries are absolutely delicious. Everything is made on spot so it's nice & fresh. Comes with a soup which was a nice surprise. The service was great, so friendly😊 Will definitely be back!

We came in rushed because of an event close to this place. They quickly gave us a delicious soup before the main dish, which was one of the best & freshest burgers I've had in a while. The prices were pretty much unbeatable as well. Also liked the atmosphere when the whole family of the owner came in lol, would come back again for sure!
Sweet spot on Wellington ✨️ I walked inside to get a meal to bring to the hospital for a family member. The owner immediately sat me down & gave a hot bowl of soup to warm up. I could not believei it, how sweet this gentleman was. Burgers & salad were delicious. Highly recommend it! Simple & fresh can't go wrong.
Ordered few times, everything is freshly made on the spot. You can get your soup on the spot while he makes your burger or whatever. I would defenitely recommend this to everyone. A1
everyone who entered was offered a soup in a way that was polite but firm - you could refuse but it would feel rude as if you entered someone's home for the first time & didnt want to take off your shoes when asked. it was a cold night & the soup was perfect & a welcome unexpected gesture. truly delicious. even someone in a hurry was encouraged to spend two minutes sitting at the counter to enjoy their soup & cracker & they looked far happier for it. i got the smash burger & poutine & both were perfect junk food fare. the burger & toppings tasted fresh & everything was tasty & filling. would 100% recommend. a local business you want to support. Generous portion, freshly made burgers & affordable pricing. During our dining, a young man came in, seemingly a returned customer & possibly with some special needs, asked for a deferred payment. The owner did not hesitate even for a second & gladly welcomed that young man, something almost only exists in small towns in the olden days. The decor of the place might be humble but the owner adorns it with priceless warmth. Every neighbourhood needs a place like this. Please consider dining here to keep this place in our community.
wow just wow! i came here with my family & we tried the poutine & the burger, it was so fresh & delicious. You could just feel the love through the food. Owner was extremely kindhearted & welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!
Great food & simple menu, those who remember the Lanterna will not be disappointed! Everything was made fresh, we had the simple Smash Burger & the Poutine Steak Montreal & both were excellent. I've been coming here for years & the new management have earned me coming back for many more!
