DANGER. BEWARE. This is the THIRD time I find a foreign material in my food. The first time was a metal washer. I advised for SAFETY concerns they didn't seem to care & offered me a refund which I didn't accept, ridiculous I found metal in my soup! I thought they ask to see it, they explained where they thought it came from & that's about it.
Stopped going for a while then started again, not many options around there.
A few more times I would find chicken bits in a vegetable meal!
BUT Again in two meals we found some kind of wood/ceramic pieces that are NOT food. & of course the wood was at the bottom of the soup so ate two full meals with wood/ceramic at bottom! Pretty sharp edges. THAT'S THE LAST TIME. DISGUSTED.
& guess what else, someone in the kitchen must be sick because after two meals yesterday I'm sick like a dog.
This place is not safe & I have no idea if this only happens to me or if others choose not to advise. At this point it's a SERIOUS safety concern.

A lovely lunch spot with super friendly & helpful staff. They helped me choose - without pushing the bigger sizes. I had a small grilled chicken pho, a grill tofu fresh roll, & a small bottle of beer. CA$35 (with tip included)
Yet - the star of my lunch was their house made SATE! An unforgettable condiment!
Was a decent Pho experience, most of the menu is chicken or tofu. I had grilled chicken pho & spring rolls, the chicken was grilled well. The pho broth was fine, the drink menu is good not anything special.
We were getting a tickle in our throats & craved some hot soup. We picked the grilled chicken pho noodle. I chose the large size & asked if they had some spicy peppers for it. At first she said no but another girl said yes. A couple of small, red, very hot & spicy peppers came on the side with my soup. It was great & really helped my throat. We like it. My wife said she wished it came with a little more broth. Other than that, perfect. After they served us, it became very busy, obviously a popular place for lunch.
When I first tried this place two years ago I thought the food was average.
Since then I have returned a few times & every time I go I have been more & more impressed.
I have had the chicken pho & I love the quality & freshness of the chicken.
The banh mi, especially the pork is super flavorful with fresh crispy bread & tender pork. The only thing I can possibly say is I wish it was a tad spicier but I will ask for that next time.
Just OK. Broth is not particularly tasty. Asked for poached chicken with my Pho, got grilled chicken, instead. Fresh spring rolls were so-so; accompanying peanut sauce didn't have much peanut flavor.

We arrived here quite early on a Tuesday evening & there was no other customers leaving us a bit hesitant at first, however we were pleasantly surprised!
We ordered the chicken bun bowl & the banh Tom poutine. The chicken bun bowl was slightly light for our preference but still delicious. The poutine was so good! Perfect amount of vinegary & savoury the perfect viet/Montreal blend, they used yam fries which help keep it light & everything blended so well together :)
The portions were also quite generous, my husband barely managed to finish the chicken bun bowl, & I got very full 1/2 way through the poutine.
Rly good price for the pho special. We got a big bowl of chicken pho & fried dumplings for 20$. The ambiance of the restaurant was cute & homey, lots of handwritten & homemade posters/decorations. The food tasted good although the soup was pretty salty (to be expected for pho & restaurant foods). There were also options of zucchini noodles instead of rice noodles.
This might be the worst tasting restaurant I have ever tried in Montreal. The chicken pho soup is way too salty, & it even tastes bitter. The summer drink "limo jade" tastes like rotten coconut. & they don't have AC inside. It's not authentic Vietnamese food.

This thoughtful touch made the dining experience more accessible & enjoyable, while I waited for my order. Dishes Ordered: Mama Thi Nems: These crispy Vietnamese spring rolls were a perfect start to the meal. They were filled with a flavorful mixture of ingredients, providing a delightful crunch with every bite. Chicken Bun Bowls: This dish was a delightful mix of grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, & vermicelli noodles, all brought together with a light & tangy sauce. The flavors were well-balanced, making each bite a refreshing experience. Grilled Chicken Pho Soup: Known for being tricky to execute as take-out, Le Petit Sao's Pho was a pleasant surprise. The broth was rich & aromatic, & the grilled chicken added a lovely depth of flavor. Packaging & Take-Out Experience: Le Petit Sao deserves high praise for their take-out service. The packaging was exceptionally well-thought-out & maintained the quality of the food. My wife & I were prowling the streets for lunch during a weekday & what pulled my wife towards this place was the neon pink sign that said "Bún Vibes". The place is cozy & very vibrant. You have to order at the counter & then sit. My wife & I ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl & the shredded pork poutine with lemonade & the pandan Jade lemonade. The chicken vermicelli was refreshing. Chicken was savory & everything from the vermicelli, fresh greens, & the fixings complemented each other. The winner was the poutine! It was so good. I'm Chinese Viet & I was honestly impressed by how well this dish was constructed. Right amount of vinegary taste. I don't know how to describe this dish, other than that it was deliciously delightful. A must try. The drinks were a nice palette cleanser & nice end to our meal.
Tried Le Petit Sao for lunch The interior is super cute! Very colorful We tried many items & everything was delicious. The perfect lunch. I Im so in love with their bowls. The chicken is very tasty. Amazing. Service was great, super cute atmosphere. Chicken was the best chicken I have ever tasted. Everything was so flavourful, hot, & arrived quickly. Pho broth was also amazing. We ordered the pho & the vermicelli salad & they were equally fantastic
