I stumbled upon Le Petit Dep, which is popular with tourists in Montreal because it's right beside Notre Dame Basilica. The exterior looks very aesthetic, & inside there was a long line. The space is small, so you may need to wait to sit. I ordered a latte & their almond croissant, & both were excellent. The croissant was worth every bite & good value for money. After, I checked their shop & bought some chocolates for friends. I didn't see the prices & was shocked when the bill came to $130 for 8 chocolates, lesson learned! Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. Great coffee, amazing croissant, beautiful spot. I'll definitely come back but will ask prices first next time.
This beautiful café offers excellent & unique local products. Unfortunately, the pros stop there. The service has been consistently disappointing, marked by contemptuous & arrogant attitudes on more than one visit. It's a shame to see such potential be overshadowed by such poor customer treatment. With better service, I would actually recommend it to my friends.
Beautiful interior, perfect vibe, wide range of high quality products, high quality drinks. Warm & inviting, very unique!
Been here several years ago & remembered the place fondly as a beautiful cozy taste breakfast place. It still looks nice but baked goods & prepared sandwiches are beyond stale. They were also selling'older croissants' for 50% off, we did not partake… based on the age of our sandwiches & scone, cannot imagine how old those croissants are.
Beautiful small cafe',bursting with coffees & drinks.Kind smiling staff & variety of picks for quick eats.
A beautiful & quaint little coffee shop in the heart of Old Montreal. I think I spend $150 over 2 days every time I stay near that location. Coffee is amazing with tons of other options such as desserts, food & plenty of drinks to choose from.
Just a gem, like you're in another country when you're there.
This busy little cafe is totally Instagram worthy! It was consistently busy, with folks wanting to capture beautiful memories in this place. It is wonderful that they serve delicious drinks & pastries! I have to say I enjoyed my latte & cookies enough to keep visiting them during my short stay in Montreal! A must-visit if you are in the area!
got a dirty chai & it was terrible if i'm being honest, & the giant oreo was just okay, but this place is so beautiful & such a great ambiance especially on the weekend in the evening so I will be coming back & hopefully I get a better drink :)
The atmosphere of this cafe is beautiful & charming. I ordered a hot chocolate & an espresso with almond croissant. The hot chocolate was good & not too sweet & . The espresso however was not nowhere near what I expected from a classic espresso. It was very acidic & the volume was very little overall you could barely call it espresso unless there are different definitions for this beverage.
