Decent, 6$ for one scoop of icecream. I chose green tea flavour. Appealing colour & decent flavour, a bit subtle if anything. Hot day & took a while to melt.. wondering if they use a lot of binders in their base recipe. Wouldn't write home home about this place though as there are PLENTY of other icecream shops to discover in MTL

If you had asked me before the last winter which location in the Plateau Mont-Royal was the best for ice cream, I would have said Le Patio hands down, as it was my favorite place to grab a bite since 2022; but I've just had the utter misfortune of going there today (May 1st) & watching for 20 minutes as two unqualified employees tried to figure out how to create a very simple vanilla ice cream with brownie combo, after which I was told they ran out of the custom plates (because this is a large, multi-person ice cream order intended for me & friends to share) we were then given a simple serving cup, with barely any chocolate syrup despite specifically requesting more as well as a single Costco box brownie (they hadn't even bothered to take the sticker off the box.) I then reluctantly had to hand over $10 plus tax for an ice cream that I could've gotten at La Diperie which is famously expensive, for half the price.

Oh Le Patio, how your standards have fallen! The very next time I feel the need for some ice cream, I shall simply go to McDonalds & bring my own brownies from Costco to come with it, atleast their employees are more qualified to serve it.

One of the few ice cream places in Montreal that is dog-friendly: they have homemade frozen'pupsicles' for purchase, for when you're on an ice cream walk with your dog. Love!
