The service is described as attentive and friendly, with staff often creating a warm, elegant atmosphere, and the terrace and decor adding to a special occasion feel. Reservations are advised due to popularity, and the new location is seen as bright and stylish, sometimes compared to New York vibes. Overall Le Passé Composé is celebrated for sophisticated brunch, flavorful, visually appealing plates, and a convivial setting that keeps guests returning.
It was ok. Missing the classics that made passé compose what it was back in the day - the gnocchi, pulled ham, salty/sweet plates, tiny smoothies... etc
The wait time was significantly longer than expected, we waited an hour for the food to arrive. When the food finally arrived, I was particularly disappointed with the foie gras poached egg dish. The portion size was surprisingly small for the price. As other reviews said, half the amount for same price.

Not a very pleasant experience at the restaurant. We visited this place as my friend loved their fois gras & she was so looking forward to having it again. However, the dish was so disappointing as she said it's nothing like what's she'd tried at her first visit. I ordered a French Toast for myself & it was super greasy as you can see on the video. This is not how French Toast supposed to be. On a side note, a waitress also spilt my iced coffee on me. She apologised, walked away, never came back to check on me again. I told the waiter who was helping us about it & he changed the chair for me as it was wet. We also had to wait so long for the food to be served. It was the worst start to our day yet I appreciated Arthur's services & for being very helpful.
Came for brunch, excellent service as well as the food. A side dish was a bit late & they brought a side of French toast which was an excellent gesture. Which also changed my mind about how I see French toast. A great place for a fancy brunch.
Definitely not impressed. I'll start by saying that the location is beautiful & the atmosphere is lovely. The food was good but for an average of $35 a plate I was expecting more specially if we compare with other brunch places. The service was not the best, the waitress didn't know what was the mimosa premium or mimosa of the day, she didn't know if allergies can be accommodated so she had to go back & forth to ask. For that price I was expecting for the food to come out at the same time & there was a 5 minute difference between my plate & my friend's. My meal came with a side but there was no soup left & the potatoes came after all the dishes were served. In general I don't think I'll be going back... Overpriced, missing items & the service is not matching the price tag...
Very disappointing experience! The foie gras dish is half of what it used to be for the same price. In the old location, they would give 2 brioches with egg & foie gras. The brioche is also not as buttery & flavourful as before. It tasted bland. The portion of the Brussels sprouts is very small. Would probably not come back.
