I really enjoyed eating at this place. The food is carefully thought out & the ambiance of the restaurant was great overall. We had the poached eggs with bone marrow & the maritimes one & both had their distinct flavour. The bone marrow had a generous portion & the maritime one too! However, the star of the show was the panko french toast. It was easily one of the best french toast I had. The texture of the panko just gives it its wow factor! The only dissapointment I had was that when we asked our new plates to be replaced since they were dirty , the waiter that we asked for (which was not our waiter) took them & threw the new plates back to us. Overall I would still recommend this place for the panko french toast that is amazing!

Was recommended this brunch gem by a friend & wowzer! Loved this place! A reservation should be made as it’ll make life much easier as there was a very long line-up but resos helped. Very good service. We had the Maritimes Poached Egg, which was exceptional & a definite must-try! Lots of street parking around the neighborhood but took us time during the weekend.
It was not as good as we expected. We waited more than one hour for our meals ! we went there on Monday morning so it was not weekend! We found this place based on google reviews & we decided our dishes based on the photos of popular dishes but we have been told that most of those dishes won't be served... some of the staff were friendly but some not.. we ordered 4 latte but they have been served with different ratio of milk & without any decorations! Even though the quality of food was great, I would not recommend this place to my friends.
Only trust when we try the foods, we wait for more than 40mins & the food presents looks big, but the food itself is cold. I think they may prepare & cook all the orders at once. Many reviews give high score, but sorry I don’t recommend here. It doesn’t worthy to come paying such high price.
Delicious! Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch. Local suppliers for all their products, very fresh. French cuisine restaurant. Reservation required.

I wish I loved it as much as I thought I would.
Food was great, but somehow very expensive & portion were a bit unrealistic for breakfast. Great service overall, I just feel it might not make a lot of sense for me to pay 150$ + tip for breakfast, but that's just me.
Would recommend for the experience.
I was expecting to get a table at 12h30 with my reservation but I understand that the restaurant was fully packed. We were still able to get a table 15min after our reservation. The food was pretty good & worth the wait. We had a Tartiflette breakfast, a passé composé sandwich & a side of french toast. They were all excellent & I recommend the side of french toast if it's not included in your meal. The french toast is like a gourmet Queue de castor & that's pretty good. Also I really enjoyed the side of fries with a light cream cheese, way better combination then I expected & the cream cheese was really light so it wasnt overwhelming. One thing to note is that the Tartiflette breakfast was really heavy, so get ready for a nap afterwards or bring the leftovers at home. Overall, it's on the expensive side but honestly worth the price & the wait. Food was great.
This is my second time coming to Montreal & Le passé composé. I love their food so much & HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!!! Will be here everytime I travel to Montreal I swear :D

Great food. It was so popular that we waited 10+ minutes even with reservation. I'd say it is well worthy the wait. A must go for a weekend brunch. I also got a couple of great pictures. Highly recommend.
