We had brunch at Passé Composé during our visit to Montréal & really enjoyed the experience. We ordered the croissant breakfast with a side of crispy potatoes & the crêpes, & both dishes were fresh, flavorful, & generously portioned. The ingredients tasted high quality, & everything arrived beautifully presented. The potatoes were nicely cooked, while the crêpes made for a delicious sweet option.

The service was friendly, attentive, & welcoming from the moment we arrived. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff remained efficient & made us feel well looked after. One of the highlights is the lovely outdoor terrace, which creates a relaxed atmosphere for brunch, especially on a nice day. The location is also excellent, making it easy to stop by while exploring Montréal.

Overall, Passé Composé is a great place if you're looking for a quality brunch with fresh food, generous portions, kind service, & a pleasant setting. I would happily return & recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Excellent, creative brunch in a trendy & lively setting, steps away from Old Montreal.

We tried the bone marrow with poached egg, the foie gras with poached egg, & the crêpes. Everything was well prepared & genuinely enjoyable.

The service, however, had a significant mishap. A trainee mistakenly served my plate to the neighbouring table, where the customer began eating it. The plate was taken back & returned less than 5 minutes later as supposedly fresh, although the food appeared disturbed & the timing raised doubts. When I expressed my discomfort, the senior waitress handled the situation professionally, apologized sincerely & immediately arranged a completely new plate.

We were also the first customers after opening, yet waited around 30 minutes for our food. At approximately $200 for 3 people, including smoothies, coffees, tax & tip. The food largely justifies it.

The best brunch experience ever! Located right at the gateway to Old Montreal, this spot is an absolute must-visit. We ordered the foie gras, bone marrow, & salmon waffles. & we also had some detox juice & quencher. Everything was served with plenty of fresh bread & generous amounts of delicious sauces. The decorations for the outdoor sittings were also eye-catching. The flavors were incredible-easily outshining similar dishes we've had back in DC. Overall, a truly fantastic & memorable dining experience.

Nouvelle revue après 7 ans. Les prix sont quand même relativement élevés pour une carte de brunch. Cela dit, assiettes copieuses. J'aurais aimé voir plus de choix (comme des options plus'santé' ou pas juste pleine de pain).
La qualité est bonne quand même.

Au départ, j'avais peur des reviews sur Facebook mais je n'ai pas été déçue. La serveuse a été agréable tout le long. La carte est variée. Pour un jeudi matin, la place était étonnamment pleine. Nous n'avons pas attendu longtemps les plats. L'ambiance est nice aussi. Seul bémol, les gnocchis de mon amie ressemblaient plus à des patates rissolees (ce qui est pas mal différent!). A part de ça, on est même restée à discuter 45 min après avoir payé & la serveuse ne nous a jamais mis de pression pour partir. La nourriture était vraiment bonne. Je recommande cette place. Place accessible en chaise roulante manuelle mais pas motorisée. Gros plus pour les mamans: une table à langer est dispo dans les toilettes!!

Ce restaurant se classe facilement parmi les meilleurs brunchs en ville.

Un incontournable à essayer absolument.
