About us
Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. The exotic decor features art, musical instruments and print fabrics. The environment is intimate and relaxing. We now offer delivery!

I lived in Washington DC for years & I've traveled to Ethiopia, so I am not new to Ethiopian cuisine. The food at le Nil Bleu fantastic, some of the best I've ever had! We ordered the meat & vegetable tasting menu. The appetizers were contemporary & the main course more traditional. The food was tasty & plentiful; the staff was friendly. I had Ethiopian food in Dubai at several Ethiopian restaurants THERE, & NOT ONE could hold a candle to Nil Blue in terms of ambience, professionalism of service, taste of the food, & quantity.

J'adore ce resto! La dégustation végé est goûteuse & en format plus que satisfaisant. Le prix est très correct étant donné la qualité. Je recommande & si vous n'avez jamais mangé de nourriture éthiopienne, ici, c'est un exemple excellent, on ne se trompe pas! & maintenant, ils ont en plus une terrasse. J'avoue que le decor ne rend pas justice à ce merveilleux pays plein de beautés, mais bon... Longue vie!View more

J'ai commandé un menu dégustation végane avec mon copain, mais ce n'est pas ce que nous avons reçu. Lorsqu'on nous a apporté l'entrée, le serveur nous a très peu expliqué les plats, ce qui a fait en sorte que nous n'avons pas constaté que nous avions reçu le plateau omnivore. À la fin, lorsque nous avons posé une question sur un ingrédient, le serveur a répondu qu'il s'agissait de fromage de chèvre puis est parti immédiatement, sans nous laisser le temps de lui expliquer qu'il y avait une erreur sur notre commande. Au 2e service, on nous a apportés des plats avec viande, & ce n'est que là que nous avons pu expliquer le malentendu. Aucun geste commercial ne nous a été offert pour compenser. Le reste du service était plutôt ordinaire, presque robotique. Dommage car la cuisine est excellente.View more
