Review Summary

Le Musée du chocolat de la confiserie Bromont offers a delightful experience for chocolate lovers and visitors to Old Bromont, blending a cozy café, a shop, and an informative museum into one charming destination. Guests frequently praise the high-quality chocolates, delicious hot chocolate, and flavorful brunch offerings, noting the lovely atmosphere of the back patio. While some find the museum portion compact, many appreciate the free, self-guided historical exhibits that add an enriching layer to the visit. Although pricing and the use of disposable service ware are occasionally mentioned as points for improvement, the overall consensus highlights a welcoming environment perfect for a gourmet break, whether you are seeking artisanal treats, refreshing gelato, or a relaxing spot to enjoy excellent food and drinks.

Très bon petit chocolat'
Un beau petit musée aussi.
On a aussi visité l'église en face. Une belle marque d'histoire du village.

Worth a visit while you stroll down Shefford Street in Old Bromont. The museum itself is quite small, but interesting to explore. The real highlight is the shop, with a great selection of delicious chocolate treats.

Stumbled in on a Tuesday evening after a long drive through the Eastern Townships, & honestly it was the perfect way to decompress. The museum section walks you through the entire history of chocolate production with surprisingly detailed exhibits, & the hands-on demonstration where a staff member shows you how pralines are made by hand was genuinely engaging. The smell alone when you walk through the door is worth the trip. Picked up a small bag of their house-made truffles on the way out & they held up beautifully for the rest of my travels.

We had a lovely stop at Musée du Chocolat in Bromont!
?The desserts here are fantastic & the orange cake was hands-down the star of the show, closely followed by the cheesecake. The hot chocolate menu is also impressive with several distinct flavors to choose from.
?The place itself is spotless, bright, & very spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors & outside on the patio. The staff was warm & welcoming throughout our visit.
?The only minor downside was missing out on the museum portion. The self-guided tour is actually free, but it wasn't mentioned when I was ordering our treats at the counter, so I was left without realizing I could have walked through it.
?Overall, a wonderful spot for coffee, pastries, & hot chocolate in Bromont. I will definitely be back to check out the museum next time!
