Lors de notre passage samedi le 29 août 2026 pour le souper, nous avons beaucoup aimé ce restaurant pour ses repas originals, le service & son ambiance. De temps en temps nous nous arrêtons à ce restaurant. L'emplacement de ce resto est parfaite (surtout la terrasse sur le bord de l'eau). Le service était légèrement débordé mais s'excusait pour ne pas avoir fait mieux. Nous ne les tenons pas rigueurs pour cela. Ce restaurant est victime de son succès :). Il est fortement préférable de réserver avant de se présenter. Le seul petit bémol, un groupe de jeune adulte (je dirais d'ados) se sont mis à jouer au ballon en arrière du resto (tout près des tables) comme ils étaient seuls au monde. Peut-être que la propriétaire aurait due les aviser ... ou encore mettre une affiche que le terrain est privé & le respect & la quiétude des clients est très important pour l'établissement (aucun jeu style soccer est autorisé). Personnellement je crois que cet événement est isolé. Ceci ne vas pas nous empêcher de revenir. Longue vie au Monton Noir.

It's an interesting place with a beautiful view. Great experience! The food is good. General Tso with salted vegetables & coriander makes this dish different. For the price & my starving mode, there wasn't enough chicken. Fish & chips were just fish & chips. Maybe I should try poutine next time, or the burger... but in general, it's a chill place. 😌
