Oui, c'est un restaurant très dispendieux, mais nous avons eu le sentiment d'en avoir eu pour notre argent. C'est le genre de soirée dont nous allons nous rappeler toute notre vie. L'expérience fut remarquable du début à la fin. Le service, tout simplement impeccable, a su allier professionnalisme & chaleur, rendant chaque moment agréable. Les plats, d'une grande finesse, étaient non seulement savoureux mais aussi parfaitement mis en valeur par les accords proposés (nous avons pris l'option sans alcool). Les profils aromatiques de ces derniers, visiblement étudiés avec soin & développés avec créativité, s'accordaient harmonieusement avec chaque assiette. Le résultat était à la fois surprenants & cohérents, magnifiquement présentés, qui ajoutent une véritable dimension à l'expérience gastronomique.
Truthfully, the food was amazing. Service was great. The wine pairing was very weak & very expensive for some Quebec & Hungarian wine. Sadly, a bunch of guests did not respect their reservations so the chef decided not to stick around & the experience was nowhere near what was expected. Would not return Given the price.
Probably the most intentional, brilliant, inspired meal of my life. We had the pairings as well, which were a counterpoint, creating a further resonance; a broader story, a 6th to a major chord. I could write a novel about the courses themselves, the lobster swimming in a herbaceous, perfect bath of frothy, complexity, but you just need to go. It is brilliant, yet unpretentious. Beautiful, grounded & self assured. A slow build, a hero's journey. No misses. A core memory. Inspired.
One of the best overall dining experiences I've ever had. I have some quirky allergies & Le Mousso went above & beyond to accommodate me while still providing an exceptional dining experience. The head chef here brought tremendous energy throughout the evening & his passion was felt by everyone in the room. This truly was an incredible experience I will never forget.
