Came across this little place on our visit to Canada with my 10 year old, who also has a great taste for fine dining. He wanted seconds for everything he tried & asked the manager to tell them that they are magicians )))

Hidden germ in laval, you will be surprised by the excellent service & food quality. Its in the high end price but worthy to try. They use very fresh ingredients & the sauce for each dish comes from real fruits, so it tastes light & so much flavour. Fois gras is a must try on the menu, not over or under cook, perfect timing & the dish temperature is just perfectly control to bring out the best taste of it.

Randomly found this gem restaurant & was amazed with food & service! Great atmosphere, cozy little place 👌🏻 I was with my 3 year old, & they improvised amazing pasta for his liking. Would recommend that place 100%

The restaurant is located in a beautiful old house with several dining rooms. We were seated in a cozy area with only four tables which made the experience even better. White table cloth, impeccable service, a menu that captures the chef's creativity & genius, this is an excellent fine French dining.Everyone will find something they like on the menu. Le Mitoyen offers a broad selection of fine wines to accompany each course. To conclude, it was a memorable dining experience & one where we will celebrate future special occasions. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Nourriture exquise, très fine. Serveur adorable ultra professionnel. Tres chaleureux, comme dans une maison, c'est amusant! Le menu a 68$ / personne est exquis & pas si cher quand on y pense. Les prix sont plus importants sur les vins, mais ce sont des importations privées, & choisies avec soin, donc.. au final, un gros 10/10.
