Un menu dégustation plutôt recherché avec de très petites portions pour le prix oui mais qui éveille les papilles malgré tout. Ça nous sort de notre zone de confort, ce qui est bien juste pour un menu dégustation. Un dessert au chocolat peut-être à retravailler. Il faudra éventuellement faire quelque chose côté insonorisation... les murs renvoient le son & le petit espace du local rend difficile de s'abandonner à ce qui se passe dans notre assiette.
Pour le reste, je recommande!
Petit resto sympa où la cuisine est la vedette & les plats sont préparés avec grand soin. On pourrait baisser la musique un peu pour mieux s'entendre parler.
Pour la nourriture 4.5☆ MAIS malgré avoir mentionné une allergie au pomme, malgré que le serveur nous le mentionnait à chacun des 7 services, malgré une soirée tranquille, nous avons eu deux plats avec des pommes, un était une sauce à base de pomme & un plat de fromage avec comme décoration dessus les fromages... des morceaux de pomme.
Pour les premier deux heures, nous avons eu Pierre comme serveur 5☆ & par la suite le deuxième serveur qui a continué, je n'ai pas son nom 3.5☆
J'y retournerai peut-être, mais comme Montréal a tellement de très bon restaurant, pas avant un bon bout !
Secret bien gardé. L'emplacement & l'aménagement laissent peu deviner le raffinement des mets & l'excellence du service. Très bon rapport qualité prix. BELLE DÉCOUVERTE !

The atmosphere is similar to the bistros in Paris, not much on decor, noisy, & tables close together. Brings back memories.
The food has exceptional flavour & very nicely presented, a little pricy for the portions given.
The service by the waiters is exceptional, always making sure your water & wine glasses are either topped up or replenished.
If you are going to have a appetizer, main course & dessert, with coffe or tea. you might as well go for the tasting menu, as it comes to almost the same price, but you end up with a few more dishes to try.
Well worth the visit,
