This place is a hidden gem. We all had the #6 handpulled noodles with lamb (on first page of the menu) & it blew us away.
& the family that runs the place is very friendly..we had a great conversation with the lady serving us.
Forget standing in line at the famous place next door & come here. The hand pulled noodles are better, the broth is better & the toppings are better.View more
Updated review (20250525): Two years later, we came back. I guess our tastes have changed, as this time, we really enjoyed the noodles. We ordered the lamb noodle & we (me, my wife & 8 year old daughter) all enjoyed it. They still accept American Express.
Original: We ate here because the other place had a long line. The noodles were okay. Not the style I particularly like. Just okay. My wife didn't like the noodles as much either. My in-laws enjoyed the noodles, though. They liked it so much, they came back two days later. They accept American Express which is a plus.View more
Lotus Bleu is a hidden gem in Chinatown, known for their incredible Henan hand-pulled noodles with lamb-it's their specialty, & it's so good. Ever since I first tried that soup, I've been a loyal customer. Their hagows are also really tasty & worth trying. The staff is always so friendly, & it's a joy to see them each visit. We ordered the half herbal chicken, which was apparently a regional specialty, & we find it very tasty as well.
The mainland Chinese students beside us seemed to be regulars. The place was packed for Thanksgiving Sunday so service a little slower.
Decor / ambiance is not "high class" but the buzz from the diners & friendly service makes you feels like home.View more

Not one dish here lacks flavour! Not only are the prices very fair (ranging from about 12$-17$ per meal) but the portions are very generous. Everyone at my table purchased something different, ranging from the lamb noodles, mushroom & chicken noodles, dumplings etc & we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Came back a week later because it was so good! I'm not usually a huge fan of lamb, but the lamb noodle soup has made me a convert :) do yourself a favour & order the lamb skewers as well! Very tender & flavourful meat. We also enjoyed the cucumber & potato salads. The server on Friday night was super friendly & knowledgeable about allergens on the menu. & prices are very reasonable. Beyond my expectation! We had the signature hand pulled lamb soup noodle, sliced braised beef, shredded salad, DongBei LiangPi (cold skin noodle). Everything was very authentic & flavorful. If you order non-spicy, you can add a bit of chili oil & vinegar to make the dishes even more delicious.View more

Spacious Northern Chinese hand-pulled noodles restaurant. They have only 2 size of noodles. I tried their signature dish (the lamb noodle soup) with the #6 noodles & was quite disappointed. It lacked flavour & the noodles were thick & heavy. On the other hand, the spicy mushroom & chicken noodle soup was delicious & full of flavour. The #4 noodles were less thick & quite enjoyable. Very good service. You can get served in both French & English. I will definitely come back to try their other spicy soups.View more
