Le Jus est un restaurant de comfort food à Montréal, ouvert de l’après-midi jusqu’à tard le soir. Nous restons ouverts tard pour que vous puissiez manger de la vraie bouffe quand la plupart des endroits sont fermés. Le Jus apparaît comme une petite adresse conviviale où l’accueil est chaleureux et l'ambiance détendue, avec des jeux de société et un décor qui mixe arts et musique; le menu met en avant des smash burgers et des burgers au poulet frit, servis avec des frites croustillantes et des cheese fries généreux, le tout accompagné de sauces bien pensées qui mêlent des touches philippines et la vibe montréalaise; le service est rapide et le rapport qualité-prix largement apprécié, avec des portions généreuses et des offres étudiantes évoquées par certains; la clientèle apprécie aussi la présence d’un petit espace pour acheter des produits exotiques naturels d'Haïti et le cadre agréable en fait une halte populaire pour manger sur place ou à emporter; des critiques ponctuelles mentionnent des burgers parfois trop salés ou trop fins et des frites manquant de croquant, mais dans l'ensemble Le Jus est perçu comme une excellente option pour ceux qui recherchent des burgers savoureux et abordables, souvent salués comme l'une des meilleures adresses de la ville pour ce type de restauration.
I was craving a juicy, fresh, comforting cheeseburger & Le Jus delivered. I will absolutely be going back every time I want the perfect smash burger. I also tried one of the chicken burgers on their menu & it was fantastic. The Honey has the perfect crunch with the right sweetness & a little jalapeno kick. You can tell the staff makes everything with care. There is heart & soul in the food.
The burgers are absolutely amazing, I got the BBQ & demolished it so quickly! The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality & taste you are getting too. I'd post a pic but all I have left is the sauce that fell on my plate, no scraps left.

Amazing food! I tried the BBQ smashburger & the buffalo chicken burger with cheesy fries. The cheese fries were so worth it, they give you a good amount of fries with cheese on every layer. 10/10 I loved everything. Prices are very fair as well. Also the staff was very polite & nice.
Beef burger way too smashed, super thin, & overcooked at the same time!!!! Plus, since it was one paper thin patty, I could barely taste the meat. I was expecting much more. I would not rate it as a good experience. (See photo), I've been to smashed burger places in Montreal with a better cooked double Patty for the same price ($12) as one patty here.

I tried the student offer at Le Jus & honestly, it was tasty & had potential. However, I was a bit disappointed to see that the burger only came with a bun, a patty, & cheese-nothing else. As a student, I totally appreciate the idea of a budget-friendly option, but I'd personally be willing to pay a little more (around $12-13) for a proper burger with toppings like lettuce, tomato, & sauce. That would really make it feel like a complete meal.
With just a few tweaks to the burger, this place could easily become a go-to spot for students.
Honestly just looking at these pictures myself is remind me of every juicy bite I had when I went to go visit @lejus_mtl! & I can still feel the juices running down my arm as I took a bite of these burgers! Even the fried chicken was super juicy & moist inside with a crunchy layer.
They took over the spot of Buboy & of quickly turned it into their new home serving up NDG with some amazing Smash Burgers just with the neighborhood needed! Justin is a real burgersmith even testing out new Burgers to put on the menu while I was there & I got to get a sneak peak into what the mad scientist was cooking!
The menu is limited to about two to three burgers on each side & two to three fried chicken burgers but honestly that's all you need that & some good cut crispy fries really is all a Smashburger place can hope for. When you end up doing too much you end up losing the quality but here you have quality from end to end the meat is perfectly seared but still juicy the Buns toasted to perfection the condiments & sauces really accent & give life to the Burger into the meats! 10/10 would recommend to a friend, FOODGASMIC 💦 in every bite!.

If you ever stop by this place, don't forget to try The Rookie burger. It's the best one out of all though all their sandwiches are amazing. Great cozy spot with immaculate vibes. 10/10 would recommend
The burger was great. Good bun, just the right amount of sauce. The poutine was really good too. Lots of cheese which was great! The atmosphere was nice too. We played games while waiting for our food & watched some football. Overall would def recommend!
Amazing food, super friendly environments. The atmosphere is great, & the interior decor is awesome as well, the best restaurant for smash burgers & chicken sandwiches
