Cela fait plusieurs années que nous venons voler un moment réconfortant au Général café, un arrêt sur la route, en après ski, randonnée, ou vélo. Été comme hiver, nous apprécions nourriture & l'accueil chaleureux. Jeux extérieurs pour enfants en été. Idéalement situé sur le p'tit train du Nord, & dans la jolie ville de Val David.

Nous adorons ce lieu & nous arrêtons chaque fois que nous passons par Val David. Ambiance familiale & décontractée, excellent tchai, matcha & bons petits plats orignaux. À découvrir & redécouvrir.
The food was very good, we were looking for a vegan restaurant & stumbled upon this place & even though it's not pure vegan they had lots of vegan options! I really loved the service & everything else we are planning to visit back soon!
My Girlfriend & I were in town visiting from Vermont on a very cold & windy day. We loved the atmosphere & the presentation. The food was awesome as well. Thank You!

Nous avons passé la matinée à travailler en savourant un excellent café, & l'atmosphère était vraiment agréable. Le personnel est très accueillant, la nourriture délicieuse & la décoration superbe.
Un lieu que nous recommandons vivement si vous êtes dans le coin.

Atterie au Général Café un mercredi matin de novembre. Endroit chaleureux & très prisé par les locaux, j'y ai mangé une très bonne omelette. Café délicieux, service incroyable.
Je sais, ça a l'air très bon! La présentation du sandwich & les jolis bancs à l'extérieur font gagner deux étoiles au resto. 🌿
Malheureusement, le sandwich n'avait aucun goût, & la salade non plus. Le seul élément savoureux? Les trois petits morceaux de popcorn qui accompagnaient la salade. 😅
Le service était aussi très lent : 35 minutes d'attente alors qu'il n'y avait pas tant de monde.
Vraiment décevant… malheureusement, je ne reviendrai pas.
Cet endroit est toujours un petit bijou & nous sommes ravis que la nourriture y soit toujours d'excellente qualité & le personnel sympathique. Alors que d'autres établissements de la région ont changé & sont désormais très décevants, il est réconfortant de voir que ce petit restaurant maintient un niveau élevé. Merci, nous continuerons à revenir avec nos amis & notre famille. Cet endroit est formidable en toute saison, mais nous apprécions particulièrement manger à l'extérieur en été :)

Stopped in after walking around the p'tit train du nord for a late breakfast & coffee & it did not disappoint. The warm & cozy interior makes for the perfect environment to enjoy the tasty food & fresh coffee. We got the bacon & ham eggs Benedict & an egg sandwich with potato's & they were very good. Stayed to do some laptop work & reading. Would recommend forsure & will be back.
Tres belle petite place! Les choix dans le menu sont parfait & pas trop compliqués à n'en plus finir comme les chaînes de déjeuner! Le service est super! L'ambiance est merveilleuse!
