J'adore ce café, la bouffe est bonne, l'ambiance est invitante & l'emplacement est idéal à côté de la piste cyclable. Seul commentaire négatif est par rapport à leur lait végétal de la marque DAM qui semble être trop dilué & qui confère aucun goût au breuvage.
J'ai pris un matcha glacé aujourd'hui & j'étais super déçue, la barista me l'a refait, mais je trouvais que ça goûtait quand même comme quelque chose qui ressemble à du matcha (de moindre qualité en plus) dans un breuvage qui goûte presque à du lait d'amande extra dilué, sans texture. Bref, 9.50$ (avec taxe & tip) pour un breuvage qui goûte l'eau, dans un verre de taille moyenne dont le contenu est majoritairement de la glace.

En plus, je comprends pas pourquoi ça coûte plus cher qu'un grand matcha chaud quand c'est majoritairement de l'eau glacée anyways…

Cela fait plusieurs années que nous venons voler un moment réconfortant au Général café, un arrêt sur la route, en après ski, randonnée, ou vélo. Été comme hiver, nous apprécions nourriture & l'accueil chaleureux. Jeux extérieurs pour enfants en été. Idéalement situé sur le p'tit train du Nord, & dans la jolie ville de Val David.

Très bel endroit authentique !
Nous avons passé la matinée à travailler en savourant un excellent café, & l'atmosphère était vraiment agréable. Le personnel est très accueillant, la nourriture délicieuse & la décoration superbe.
Un lieu que nous recommandons vivement si vous êtes dans le coin.
Merci au Général Café pour cette belle expérience !

Atterie au Général Café un mercredi matin de novembre. Endroit chaleureux & très prisé par les locaux, j'y ai mangé une très bonne omelette. Café délicieux, service incroyable.

All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Le Général Cafe. The staff was very friendly, the food was excellent & the Late (both regular & decaf) was hot. Overall a good place to start the day. It's conveniently located right at Le Petit Train du Nord.

Un arrêt s'impose à ce plus que charmant café que ce soit pour une collation ou un repas. Dès votre arrivée vous serez accueilli chaleureusement & amicalement. Les plats sont savoureux. On peut aussi dénicher de fabuleux produits à leur belle boutique . À découvrir!
