This is a very different type of high end coffee shop, & the uniqueness of it makes it very appealing. It has a Japanese feel to it, the onigiri lunch options & miso soup are excellent, & the siphon style coffee is also top notch; its also something I've never seen elsewhere in Montreal. New owners have taken over, & the quality seems to have been maintained. Overall a great place to sit, eat & have coffee.

my most favorite cafe in Montreal ☕️ I love the architectural space alone, it's perfect for meeting friends or studying. I always get their soups & bowl or onigiri combo, all the flavors are so comforting & delicious. I tried a chai latte the first time but I don't really recommend it, my go-to is their specialty syphon coffee !

Great atmosphere, friendly service, & wifi available. Loved that they had both great coffee & Japanese style food, an unusual combination that I definitely appreciated!!

A near perfect cafe: great coffee (the cortado was amazing), bright & spacious, good & unique food options, places to work & also to relax-reading in a hammock anyone? Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Nous confirmons, par la présente, que ce café constitue une excellente place pour étudier, malgré le jeu de cache-cache pour trouver les chargeurs. Le Moka est, selon Flo, le meilleur au monde; le latte au lait d'avoine est, selon l'autre Flo, bon mais pas le meilleur au monde; le chai latte est, selon Jade, épicé à point & le chocolat chaud, est le meilleur au monde. Delicious coffee, wonderful atmosphere to have a friendly chat or do some work & their onigiris are fantastic. come early to make sure you can try them. Japanese siphon coffee available for the curious ones!
