I've been going to bar darling since 2020, i love everything about the place, food is amazing & the stuff & nice & friendly. My only problem is the space? It's soo tiny inside, tables are very next to each other, tiny tables with crowded place & not enough space it really stressing last time i went to the bar I couldn't wait to finish my food & leave because it was very uncomfortable & I indeed once broke a wine bottle because of how tight & crowded the blace is & how tiny the tables are they can barley fit everything...View more
I ordered a mocktail. It was surprisingly awful. At the end of the night, when the waitress brough the bill with an itemized list of what I'd ordered, I realized she had brought me the wrong drink. Guess that explains it. The place is really loud. The food is okay. Vegans don't have much to choose from. I enjoyed the eclectic decor.View more
The food is really good if they let you try it! They say their kitchen closes at 2, but beware at 1:30 they said no to anymore food. The whole staff is rude. Never again.View more

Nice atmosphere but bad food & service.We went there as3 friends . The atmosphere was overall good & rustic . Unfortunately, our the food experience was bad. We ordered beers , cheeseburger , Bailey's & french fries were overcooked & burnt. Therefore, we mentioned it to the waitress by pointing out our plate. She didn't even bother herself to say sorry. She was super angry & took the plate & brought the second fries again burnt same . Consequently, we refused the pay tips & she asked us the reason why we didn't pay the tips. We said " The food was burnt." She said " It is not about my service ." This is unacceptable ! If the plate is not okay especially for the second time ,it is the server's duty to forward the burnt food to the kitchen & or the chef. Please show more responsibility to the plates & respect to the customers.View more

Assez décevant, 25min d'attente pour la bouteille que j'ai commandé, elle m'est amené sans aucune présentation. Plusieurs plats ou entrées oubliés dans notre groupe. La serveuse n'étair pas sympatique, pas de sourire, pas d'excuse fasse aux erreurs, pas de remerciement à la fin du service.... ils sont chanceux que l'endroit est beau parce que honnêtement le service est minimal pour ne pas dire terrible. Les bussboys sont on point, mais pas le service. La nourriture est ordinaire. La mignonnette semblait être que du vinaigre blanc... & l'une de nos huitres n'étaient pas fraîche.View more

Le service de notre serveuse était vraiment médiocre. Elle ne revenait jamais pour prendre notre commande, elle avait l'air bête toute la soirée. I'll state the facts, you decide. I have been there for drinks & went for breakfast recently. The food is ok, tasty, but the portions are ridiculously small. The average price for benedicts in most breakfast restaurants is ~$22 for two. Here you get only one for that price. I was also charged $3.50 for a couple of teaspoons of jelly & an extra dollar for ice... & thing is that it is only the Plateau, right? With a very standard service & nothing more. What an absolute gem. there is not a time of day le darling is not amazing - in the weekend mornings they have some of the best brunch in the entire city & at night, the bar is such an amazing vibe. food here is amazing & diverse, with a constantly changing menu that is incredibly flavorful & creative. my hat goes off to le darling, it will forever be one of my favorites. my tip, get the london fog. best london fog ever.View more
The cozy antique-esque atmosphere is great. My friends & I arrived just before 11pm & the kitchen was closing but we were able to order a matcha dessert, which was delicious. I had a Moscow mule to drink, & did not like it. It did not come in a chilled copper mug & flavour did not taste like a typical Moscow mule. Overall, I really liked the vibe of le darling. The service was very average. Not the best bar along Saint Laurent but would be open to trying again if my friends want to go.View more

L'endroit nous a été recommandé & nous y sommes passés en coup de vent pour un encas rapide. Accueil sympathique sur la terrasse. Une salade au poulet dont la sauce est épicée comme j'aime, sur un verre de Contemporain du fils Landron (très beau choix de vins) & une gourmandise pour adoucir la vie. Un rapide passage en salle montre un décor attrayant. A refaire avec plus de temps.View more
