Everything I ordered was so good & so clearly made with care. The person who served me was pleasant & kind & offered the requisite free tea. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend.
What a find! This place feels like eating at a friend's family dinner table: warm, welcoming, & genuinely home-cooked. We came with kids & never felt rushed or out of place. It's about as family-friendly as it gets.
We ordered a spread of dips. The baba ganoush & hummus were full of flavor, & paired perfectly with the pita bread, which is baked fresh in-house. The crispy chips disappeared in minutes. Don't skip the kibbeh, it's a must-try & clearly a house specialty according to my husband. The Syrian chicken was great & beautifully spiced, & the chana & spinach was very hearty.
Generous portions, great prices, & food made with real care. Its definitely a great find!
The service was great! The man serving us was very kind & offered us free Hummus & dessert. Great food if you want a home cooked type of meal.
Hands down the Best Palestinian & middle eastern food in Montreal! Definitely try their Mushakhan & the hummus Awarma!
Came here about a year ago & it was decent. This recent visit was a different story. Honestly kind of insulting.
I went for the promotion, the appetizer + main + dessert trio. First red flag: the deal advertised an appetizer up to $20, but when I actually went to order, all the better options were blocked off. Even ones well under the $20 cap. So the choice was basically gone before I started.
I ended up going with the Hoummus with Awarma, which is $15. The server brought out plain hummus instead, which is a $9 dish, mumbled that they were out, & walked off before I could even respond. No heads up, no asking if I wanted something else, no adjusting the price. & I still got charged the full price. If you're out of something you tell the customer first & let them choose. You don't just swap in the cheaper version & keep the difference. Then you're just shorting the customer.
The main was fine. Pretty forgettable. By that point the service had already ruined the mood anyway. Staff were cold & short the whole time, which I honestly could have let slide if everything else hadn't gone the way it did.
For a place that is pretty expensive, the whole thing was a letdown. A promotion you water down to nothing & a dish you downgrade without telling me isn't a deal, it's a bait & switch. If you're not happy providing a promotion, why do it at all? Won't be going back, this is some of the worst service I've ever received.
