Such a wonderful restaurant! The food was delicious, & the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, & beautifully Middle Eastern. The hospitality was amazing & made us feel right at home. We had a great experience & would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Le Chef was one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal! Tucked away in a basement, it's an unassuming little gem that serves some of the most delicious Palestinian & Syrian food we've had.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was smiling, warm, & eager to help. A special thank you to **Noor**, who patiently explained the menu, answered our questions, & helped us choose the perfect dishes. The service was exceptional from start to finish.

The ambiance was inviting & comfortable, & every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. The owner was also incredibly gracious, taking the time to make sure we were enjoying our meal, which added a very personal touch to the experience.

My wife & I were visiting from Toronto to celebrate her birthday, & choosing Le Chef turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during our stay. We left with full stomachs & wonderful memories.

If you're in Montreal & appreciate authentic Middle Eastern cuisine served with genuine hospitality, I can't recommend Le Chef highly enough. Don't let its modest entrance fool you-this place is a true hidden gem.

You will not be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch prepared by Chef Read, & it was an unforgettable experience. Chef Read personally came to our table, took the time to ask about our preferences, & made us feel truly welcome. The food was absolutely delicious-every dish was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. The combination of outstanding service & incredible cuisine made our visit special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience & exceptional food. Thank you, Chef Read!

I'd give this spots 6 stars if I could. My waitresses were attentive & always seemed to appear at the right time. I had the Syrien Chicken plate & everything was very fresh & flavorful. I forgot to mention sans gluten so the salad had fattoush & I had to skip it, but that was my fault. The lemonade peach slush really hit the spot after a long day of walking. Highly recommend!
