Overrated, beau concept, belle idée créative de présenter des''sushis''. Belle ambiance, une belle présentation des plats mais pas beaucoup de poissons. Donc cher pour du riz.

We ordered 4 dishes (2 manekis, 1 donburi, 1 maneki dog) & I only liked 2 of them (sake truffle & spicy maneki dog), but everyone has their own taste. Very cute place & good service! I would recommend to reserve a table before coming since it can get busy quickly & there's just a few parking spots
Me & husband had an amazing experience yesterday night, the vibe is super cozy & aesthetic. I recommend to try their Maneki Dog (sake sesame). It's a very original dish, the seaweed is crispy & the filling is very tasty. Their drinks were also really good, if you like fruity drinks I recommend Hakuma-ma-sake.
Très belle expérience au Château Maneki. La nourriture est vraiment bonne & originale. J'ai adoré les sushi pressés & les maneki dogs. Belle carte de cocktail aussi. Mon seul point que personnellement j'ai moins aimé c'est la musique très forte de type night club mais c'est vraiment personnelle parce que la bouffe en vaut vraiment la peine & nous avons eu un bon service ❤️
I will be completely honest: I was fully taken by the pig drink when I saw it on Insta! I had to try this place & beg them to sell me a piggy... unfortunately, the answer to my begging was no :( BUT, the experience was still enjoyable; the tartare was great, & the chips were extra crunchy the way they should be. The drink was a bit more tart than I personally prefer, but how can I complain when it's in the cutest cup I've ever seen? The ice cream was also wonderful & refreshing! The only negative is that the Chateau is on the road of the loudest/busiest highway in MTL, but that is out of their control.
The cocktails were very creative & delicious! The food was full of flavors. Unfortunately the service was not very impressive, although the restaurant was almost empty, we had to wait quite some time before being attended to (water, bills). Will come back to take away.
Une ambiance très élégante, agréable & surprenante. Un service impeccable & très personnalisé. La nourriture est délicieuse, très raffinée. Seul bémol : la quantité de nourriture est trop petite. On a encore faim avec seulement un plat.
Nous sommes allées un samedi soir & avons adoré l'ambiance cosy & intime. Le restaurant était plein, le staff était souriant & attentionné. Nous avons pu goûter à plusieurs délicieux plats & notre gros « highlight » a été la découverte des Maneki Dog (Sake sésame & Nago tamago dans notre cas) en plus de la délicieuse entrée de concombres frais & marinés. J'y retournerai à l'été pour la vibe de casse-croûte extérieur sans faute.
What a great spot! The overall experience is a 10/10. The food was delicious. We've tried different sushi's, the tartare & a few drinks. The vibe is nice. The music playing in the background is very good. & the staff are very welcoming. Recommend for a date or even to chill with friends! Will be back.

My boyfriend & I are very happy with our lunch here! We tried four out of the five sushis options (we left the spiciest one for another day, haha) & all four had very distinct flavors. We really enjoyed all of them. We tried the Toad & the Pig mocktails. They were delicious but a little too sweet for us, but that's 100% on us - we should've asked the waitress before ordering. We were very grateful upon arriving to find out they have a second floor to hide away from the cold outside & we were both impressed by the atmosphere - it feels like a hidden speakeasy! There are few seats, however, so while we were fortunate to be seated without a reservation, I would not leave it up to chance again. Great service, our waitress was so friendly & attentive. We definitely recommend giving Château Maneki a try!
On a adoré notre expérience! Barmaid/serveuse hyper attentionnée & sympathique.. la bouffe tellement bonne!! Drinks quand même dispendieux mais le Pixie Dust, je crois, est si bon! On recommande fois mille!
I had an incredible night at Chateau Maneki. It's so cute & cozy, & the food is fantastic. The standouts for me were the Hakuna Ma-Sake cocktail for being creamy with a little lemon freshness & a sweet finish, the pressed crunchy wasabi roll & the cabbage appetizer. The only downside is that the adorable tables are a little on the tiny side for my long legs - next time I will request a spot at the bar, but make no mistake I will be back. I hope they are wildly successful & open a location closer to me
So good! Every bite & sip I took was delicious. They recently opened a room on the second floor that has real speakeasy vibes. Will be coming back to try more pressed sushis & cocktails!
