I never review but this time i had to.
I visited this restaurant with high expectations tor new year, but unfortunately it was a complete letdown. The food tasted stale & overly oily, as if it had been cooked in old oil & reheated. The rice was cold & lacked freshness, & the overall quality was far from authentic Indian cuisine.
For the prices they charge, this level of food & service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place & won't be returning.

Worst dining experience - extremely disappointing, especially on Christmas
My husband & I visited Le Chaska on Christmas, expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had.
While the ambience of the restaurant was good, it seems all the investment stopped there. The menu itself was extremely unprofessional-a basic folder with poorly printed A4 sheets, which felt cheap & careless for a restaurant that claims to offer a quality dining experience.
The biggest issue, however, was the customer service, specifically from the waitress named Vrinda. The service was painfully slow compared to other restaurants, & when we asked how long it would take for our food to arrive, the response was shockingly rude. We were told that she doesn't make the food, so she doesn't know how long it will take. This dismissive attitude is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, the pizza dish was literally slammed onto our table, which was both disrespectful & unprofessional. This behavior alone was enough to ruin the entire experience. There was no apology, no accountability, & no attempt to correct the situation from the waitress.
A person who claimed to be the owner was apologetic & tried to calm the situation, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, that did not undo the damage already caused by the staff's behavior. The waitress herself showed no remorse or courtesy whatsoever.
Lastly, the food was mediocre at best & certainly not worth the long wait or the poor treatment we received.
Dining out on Christmas is meant to be special, & this experience was the complete opposite. Extremely poor customer service, unprofessional staff, & average food-we will not be returning, nor would we recommend this place to anyone.

I had an incredible dining experience at Indian Restaurant Le Chaska in Montreal Downtown. I went with my family & we reserved table for 8 people. When we visited the place feel like we're transported to India with old architecture design & beautiful ambiance. The food is truly authentic; I loved the Butter Chicken was rich & creamy, & the Garlic Naan was perfectly crisp. Chaska Special Naan found unique & huge in size it's garnished with beets, green chilli coriander, etc. Live brick oven old style pizza like an Italian style which is very authentic. They use high-quality, fresh ingredients & traditional spices. The Biryani was fragrant & seasoned to perfection. The best Indian restaurant in the area for anyone seeking genuine flavors & a great atmosphere. We ordered different kinds of meals from the menu appetizers & the main course everyone is satisfied with their food & services. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly & offered recommendations. Rashi & the other staff members took good care of us in a very professional manner & also helped us in parking our cars. Top notch hospitality. If you're looking for authentic food, professional service & delicious Indian cuisine in the area of Montreal city, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!!

One of the Best Indian Restaurant in Montreal Downtown. We really enjoyed the food & service & hospitality & ambience of the restaurant is feel like rich Indian architecture & is more than 5 stars. Our family favourite place & definitely visit again. Le Chaska employees are very friendly & very attentive & taking good care of their guests. Top notch service & very clean & hygiene place. Highly Recommended!!

I recently visited Laa Chaska Restaurant, & it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm & welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal with family or friends. The menu offers a wonderful variety of flavorful dishes, each prepared with great attention to taste & presentation. Every bite felt fresh & authentic, & the portion sizes were generous as well.
A special thanks to Varshaa, whose exceptional service made the visit even more memorable. She was attentive, friendly, & genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great dining experience. Her recommendations were spot-on, & she consistently checked in with a smile, making us feel truly valued as customers.
Overall, Laa Chaska excels in both food & hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious cuisine paired with outstanding service. I'll definitely be returning soon!

I ordered two items off of the street food menu that were recommended by the server. They were two of the most delicious things I have ever eaten outside of India.
I have eaten Indian food in most of the biggest cities in North America & this restaurant is probably my favorite of them all. The ambience is superb & the food could not be better.

Very authentic food & environment just a little note about the menu descriptions does not say much about the the food ingredients meet bone in or not (probably normal to Indian cuisine) not to pure Canadian younger than 50. Over all I highly recommend to eat there support the new business.

Best Indian restaurant in Montreal. We ceme here with my family for the first time we loved it. They have a big menu with variety of vegetarian & non-veg. We ordered lamb biryani its amazing. Chicken kebab & mutton rogan josh with garlic naan its a delicious. They have halal meat chicken, mutton & lamb. Mango lassi is must try. Highly Recommended & must visit place.

Unique dining experience must try to won't be disappointed. They have nice fish chicken tikka. Good for families & kids party & dinning. I love the dessert 🍨 gulab jamun & malpua with rabri amazing. Very good atmosphere & Le Chaska Special Naan bread one of a kind & you will not find anywhere in montreal trust me the best Indian restaurant I have found & would be good for catering. Highly Recommended le Chaska montreal Indian food. Very good food i have in lunch. Patiala Chicken & Mutton Rara with fresh Garlic Naan was amazing. Beautiful ambiance with cozy vibes & friendly staff.
