The intimate setting makes it a good choice for celebrations or a special night out, though seating is limited and pacing can vary. Overall the experience combines quality, creativity and warmth, inviting return visits.
Le Carré is a fine place to get a nice dinner if you're around. Service in English was great, & all around I felt very attended to. Staff were professional & knew what they were talking about. The food was good, though some plates were a little dated. I think the chef needs to relax on the microgreens on the next menu overhaul, they were on every dish we had (even the lemon pie dessert!). We ordered the charred broccoli as an appetizer, which was very tasty, though the broccoli could use a little time in a steamer perhaps as they were a touch hard. Flavours on the plate were very good, well thought out. Probably a 3.5/5 (mainly due to the micros, & only getting 2 pieces of grilled peach [one of which still had a piece of pit on!]) I had the grilled octopus as my main, & it was wonderful. The octopus literally melted in my mouth. The corn salad was very good as well, but I feel the chorizo could have been incorporated into the dish better, it provided & excellent salty/spicy component to the dish, but the grilled bias cut seems a little out of place considering the general „fanciness" of the place. 4.5/5 My wife got the gnocchi (she's vegetarian & it's the only vegetarian main on the menu, definitely room for improvement there), & I was genuinely surprised at the quality. Very very flavourful. Once again the plating could use some touching up, but when the food tastes that good, it doesn't really matter. 5/5 Finally, we shared a piece of lemon „pie". This was more of a deconstructed tart than a pie, & probably the biggest miss of the dinner. Flavour-wise was very good. The curd was luxuriously smooth, & the „exotic salsa" (a mélange of brunoise mango & other yellow fruit that I couldn't place) was really tasty. Unfortunately the base crust of the „pie" wasn't very good. The menu listed it as „short bread" & while technically true, turned out as more resembling the dry cookie part of a Jaffa cake than anything I would consider a „short bread" in the context of a lemon tart/pie. Also, just a massive bunch of undressed microgreens on the plate. What purpose did they serve? I ate them, & can tell you they served 0 purpose. Had it been a sprig of mint it would still be a dated plate, but at least the mint tastes like stuff. 2.5/5 (for $15, I was unimpressed) Overall, good! Though a bit pricey. With 2 drinks, our total was $160, but the service did make up for it a bit. Be warned! This restaurant is attached to a hotel, so if you're looking for a nice, quiet, adults-only dinner, maybe look elsewhere
Such a hidden jam with amazing food & great service. We had a beef carpaccio & shrimp form starters. The carpaccio was amazing & I like it slightly better than shrimp. For the mains we followed our waiter recommendation & went with swordfish tataki & duck pasta. Both dishes were amazing. We were not able to decide the winner, so I would recommend take both.

The place we not packed & we got a nice table straight away. The service was excellent, the food was not so good. The Shrimp were overcooked & didn't seem fresh from their taste. My girlfriend ordered the Salmon & I the Lamb. Hers was not fresh & served raw after marinating in citrus overnight, the lamb was cooked 3 was none of which done to my liking. The waiter sent hers back & the gave her another piece of filet. Mine got cold whilst I waited for hers to return which did make it better. The chef apologized & we finished eating. We opted not to order dessert.

Came here for lunch as we were passing by. Couldn't say enough good things. The staff were really kind & welcoming. The food really was stellar & such a good buzziness to the place. I'd go back in a heartbeat - truly 5 stars across the board.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The marinated octopus with the soup starter was truly delicious, far beyond my expectations. The presentation of the dishes is very meticulous, with every detail carefully considered. The service is also commendable, with attentive & friendly staff. Overall, it's a place I recommend.
I had 2 cocktails, appetizer, main & dessert for total $120 crazy tax included. It's decent French food for a great budget. Not a tourist trap as many others in the area. Bar seats are not crowded if you come 5 or 5:30. They have an English menu. Don't be shy & ask. They know I speak so little French & trying to pretend fancy but did not laugh at me.
Food : average good, salty sometime. Fries so-so, & calmars very basic. Wagyu meat burger didn't seem so different for me than regular beef, but I appreciated the generous portion of meat. But overall for the price..., I also have high expectations. I couldn't say I felt disappointed but I could not say either that I will remember my lunch there. Service: good Atmosphere: the place is comfy & well decorated, but also pretty noisy.
Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. The grilled tuna was exceptional, & my husband loved his steak. Cozy, chic spot; perfect for date night. Make reservations!

Every single piece of food & drink I've stuffed my mouth was a masterpiece here. Seriously I've rarely been to places where everything I tasted was good let alone this good. I saluted chef with a thumbs up as he was eyeing my reaction which means he is deeply concerned about the customer experience & I salute him again here. Bravo!
We stumbled upon this cute restaurant on the bottom floor of our hotel. Very unassuming at first but once you step in the atmosphere is great but the food was so enjoyable. Real value for your money. The dishes were full of fresh flavor & very filling. The cocktails were created with intention making every sip tasty. We plan to return on our next trip.
Everything is perfect here for me. 1. Shrimp appetizer: the sauce combined with vegetable created an interesting & unique harmony for the dish. Unfortunately one of the shrimp wasn't fresh for me. (I'm from ocean city, might be more picky) 2. Lamb variation: love the three version of the lamb in one dish. The combination of the vegetable & sauce added on additional layer for the taste. 3. Stuffed chicken: sauce was the highlight. Very light but tasty. 4. Love my sangria, refreshing drink for a hot summer lunch. 5. Bread is very good too. Hot & warm. Love the spiciness in the butter. 6. Amazing service. Sorry didn't get his name, but I had wonderful time there.
