The lamb was enjoyed by my companion & the duck linguine was delicious!
Bustling but the tables are at a reasonable distance from each other. 100% a great location, I will be back!
I was in town for a conference & chose Le Carré for a nice dinner because it was nearby.
I walked in the door & James sat me at the bar & proceeded to take the best care of me for the rest of the evening.
I was torn between 3 mains that all looked good, & James talked me into ordering the lamb shoulder. He said it was the best dish they served, & still it exceeded my expectations. I asked him for a wine to go with it, & he recommended a full bodied red that paired very well.
For dessert he recommended the crispy maple squares, despite the fact I was considering 3 other options. At this point I felt I had no choice but to listen to James, & again he did not disappoint.
This was easily the nicest meal I have had in years. Thank you very much James & the staff behind the scenes at Le Carré. I wish I lived closer so that I could visit again soon.
I am shocked by the 4.7 review( as of July 2025), I did not feel like the food was up to expectations. Most of the table took the duck pasta because the waiter recommended it, it was a good 6/10. Did not taste like any duck was in it & the ingredients were particular… Honestly so disappointing. The service was really just okay, nothing special. The restaurant is very small, so you probably need a reservation.

Party of 12 for dinner. Fantastic food, presentation & service. Couple of vegetarian options. Everyone had great things to say about the taste. Ambience was outstanding too. Highly recommend. For the food & experience the process was very good.

The wagyu burger is out of this world, it was cooked to perfection juicy & tender. The charred broccoli was so different than anything I've had & I was so delighted. The cocktails were amazing too. The mojito Carre was smooth yet distinguished. The old fashioned Carre was smooth & classic. The star of the show besides the amazing service, friendly staff & perfect bread was the crème brûlée, the best I've ever had.
My wagyu burger tasted exactly like the black bean vegetarian burgers my girlfriend makes, that iS NOT a compliment. & the saffron scallop risotto was delicious but very small portion size.
