Came here for lunch as we were passing by. Couldn't say enough good things. The staff were really kind & welcoming. The food really was stellar & such a good buzziness to the place. I'd go back in a heartbeat - truly 5 stars across the board.Voir plus
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The marinated octopus with the soup starter was truly delicious, far beyond my expectations. I had 2 cocktails, appetizer, main & dessert for total $120 crazy tax included. It's decent French food for a great budget. Not a tourist trap as many others in the area. Bar seats are not crowded if you come 5 or 5:30. They have an English menu. Don't be shy & ask. They know I speak so little French & trying to pretend fancy but did not laugh at me.Voir plus
Food : average good, salty sometime. Fries so-so, & calmars very basic. Wagyu meat burger didn't seem so different for me than regular beef, but I appreciated the generous portion of meat. But overall for the price..., I also have high expectations. I couldn't say I felt disappointed but I could not say either that I will remember my lunch there. Expérience moyen-correcte. Cocktail : ok Entrée : calmars, quelconque, je n'ai pas aimé. Plat : tartare de thon était bon, tartare de saumon aussi, les frites moyennes ; Dessert : crème brûlée : excellente, c'etait le point fort du chef, je me suis régalé avec ma conjointe. Le service : courtois & sympathique. L'ambiance feutrée est sympa, un peu bruyante. Un point d'incompréhension : vendez-vous le pain/beurre ou vous l'offrez au nombre de clients par table ou par ce qu'il prend? Car je pensais en avoir & finalement non. Every single piece of food & drink I've stuffed my mouth was a masterpiece here. Seriously I've rarely been to places where everything I tasted was good let alone this good. We stumbled upon this cute restaurant on the bottom floor of our hotel. Very unassuming at first but once you step in the atmosphere is great but the food was so enjoyable. Real value for your money. The dishes were full of fresh flavor & very filling. The cocktails were created with intention making every sip tasty. We plan to return on our next trip.Voir plus
Everything is perfect here for me. 1. Shrimp appetizer: the sauce combined with vegetable created an interesting & unique harmony for the dish. Unfortunately one of the shrimp wasn't fresh for me. (I'm from ocean city, might be more picky) 2. Lamb variation: love the three version of the lamb in one dish. The combination of the vegetable & sauce added on additional layer for the taste. 3. Stuffed chicken: sauce was the highlight. Very light but tasty. 4. Love my sangria, refreshing drink for a hot summer lunch. 5. Bread is very good too. Hot & warm. Souper & spectacle à la place des arts en marche rapide 10 min du resto.Tres belle découverte ce restaurant qui a su s,adapter à notre demande de repas végane & végétarien.Mention pour le risotto,la salade de tomates, les pâtes originales.Je recommande le menu dégustation.Le chef nous laisse découvrir sa créativité dans l'assiette & c'est beau à voir! The most wonderful meal! Popped in without a reservation ( highly recommend making one) but luckily they accommodated us at the bar where Jean Francois ( Jeff) took good care of us & we watched the chef & kitchen create mouth watering meals, exquisitely presented. The hanger steak was like butter & my muddled raspberry mojito refreshing. Chef even gave us the salad dressing recipe - thank you 💗. Can't wait to return.Voir plus

De passage à Montréal, je suis allé au Le Carré à l'invitation d'une amie dans savoir que je m'embarquais dans une véritable expérience culinaire. Tout y était exquis à commencer par l'entrée d'Halloumi & les calmars grillés. Le burger de Wagyu était parfaitement sublimé par la moutarde fumée. Le tartare de thon était relevé à souhait & que dire de la croustille frite qui accompagnait le tout. La sauce ponzu mariait parfaitement le tout. Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le temps de manger un dessert, mais ceux que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir paraissaient délicieux! Le mojito Le Carré était aussi surprenant qu'exceptionnel!
