Le Caravane Café est largement salué pour son excellent café, ses pâtisseries fraîches et son ambiance accueillante propice au travail ou à la détente, avec un intérieur cosy et un personnel attentif; les avis soulignent une atmosphère détendue idéale pour étudier ou lire, même si les périodes d'affluence peuvent être bruyantes et que certains plats arrivent froids ou pas exactement tels que commandés, l'équipe restant généralement flexible et axée sur la satisfaction du client; dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit fiable pour les étudiants et les habitants qui apprécient des boissons de qualité, de bonnes bouchées et une expérience de café charmante.
Staff is very nice & friendly. They have a kind & very welcoming vibe. The food is sadly disappointing & quite pricey. I pad $47 for two sandwiches & two drinks (including tax & tip). At my local cafe, I usually pay $30 for the same. I thought the sandwich would come with a small side at that price, but it does not. Coffee is good. If I come back it would probably be just for the coffee but definitely not the food.
The experience at the cafe was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff were friendly & welcoming, which was a positive aspect. However, the food left much to be desired. The carrot cake was disappointing as it seemed frozen & thawed, resulting in a strange texture & taste. The muffin was okay, but the cappuccino was too light & seemed like a cup of milk rather than coffee. On the other hand, the ice matcha latte was decent. The cafe had a cute decor, but the lack of air conditioning & proper ventilation made it uncomfortably hot & humid. The limited space & cramped atmosphere were also notable downsides. Overall, the experience was okay, but it certainly had its drawbacks.

4.3/5? Selon mon expérience, ils méritent plus. Quel décor & quelle terrasse. J'ai quelques nouveaux slogans pour vous. "Le seul bon café à Côte-des-Neiges" ou "Un oasis dans un désert de bon café". Leur scone à l'orange & canneberge étaient frais, chauds & délicieux & ils offrent un très bon espresso. Finalement, le monde là bas a de gros coeurs. Comment est-ce que j'ai raté ce coffee shop pour si longtemps?
This is an amazing place to grab a sandwich & coffee. We were lucky to find a table because I could see a lot of students & other folks working. The food itself was okay. Won't recommend the Mama Vege sandwich. The coffee was okay, as was the croissant. Would probably come back when the patio is open!
The ambiance was nice, but the espresso I ordered was somehow both dull & dreadful. I suspect that a pressurized portafilter was used. Although I am aware I am demanding, I do not think it is okay for a 3.75$ espresso. Caravane Café also sells bags of coffee. Their bigger size is 15$/500gr. I would not trust that the producers are paid a fair price at 30$/kg. Caravane Café does not use specialty coffee. This place is for fans of cafes (the establishment), not for fans of coffee (the drink). If one wants better coffee, they should head down to Brûlerie Urbaine on Côte-des-Neiges.

One of the few places that I can recommend, good service, delicious tea, coffee & desserts. The prices are reasonable & worth the money. If you want to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of comfort & good service... Then you will be interested in this place.)
Food & coffee weren't anything mindblowingly special or unique but the atmosphere was warm & rustic & the late opening hours were perfect when looking for a place to sit with my drawing tablet on a cold winter's night.

Coffee is good prices are reasonable & they have maybe the best vegan brownies I've had. But please clean your shelves & other corners of the cafe it's full of dust & doesn't look like it has been cleaned for weeks
Very nice place to go. The food is not amazing, but it is very good, which I greatly appreciate. I also read some comments saying the coffee is not that good, so I was exceptic to buy it, but I did & I am glad to have done it. It was actually very good.
The environment is nice but too tight to work, if you think on doing that; specially on a Sunday like today. Just go to relax & enjoy the food & coffee :)
More of a food place then coffee, food recommended yes but coffee no. Asked for a latte & got a cup of milk... Coffee machine is dirty. Wont go back for cafeine . Atmosphere is very nice tho
$30 for a 1 iced chai, 1 iced coffee (decent, but cold brew was pretty bitter) & 2 croissants (burnt). 😶 Almost impossible to sit outside where there was clearly a wasp nest, or inside where tables were packed together. The bathroom was quite dirty, & generally seemed pretty run down. Service was good, food was decent, but atmosphere was bad. Easy suggestions: remove the wasps net, clean the bathroom & a fresh coat of paint.
