Literally walked down the street & BOOM, cute café that's been hiding from me like it's in witness protection.
Walked in & immediately got hit with boho chic, vintage, grandma who travels vibes. There's an old piano just sitting there like it's waiting to drop an EP.
I ordered a smoothie bowl & a sesame bagel with salmon, & tell me why it looked like it belonged in a food magazine?? Garnish? On point. Aesthetic? Chef's kiss. The latte came with art on top (because duh, we're fancy huh).
Now listen… she accidentally gave me a cold latte first. But it's 30 degrees outside, so that's understandable. But me? I'm a hot-latte-in-the-summer kinda rebel. She remade it like a true barista queen & apologized with kindness in her soul.
The salmon bagel though? Life CHANGING. I will be back. Brunch is on weekends, & I'm not the type to turn down brunch unless I'm cramping on my menstrual or sick.
Perfect spot to bring your laptop, fake like you're working, or pretend you're in a European café film while softly tapping the piano. 10/10 would vibe again. 🎹☕🍓
Bonjour, nous venons du café Magda ma fille a pris une sandwich au pois chiche sur pita (moitié de pita)....15$ & moi un smootie à 11$ dans un format de verre petit/moyen. J'ai trouvé les prix exorbitants pour les petites portions que nous avons eu. Cest désolant, j'aime bien encourager nis commerces locaux mais à des prix exagérés je vais devoir aller ailleurs. Dommage vos cafés sont bons.
Le plus mignon des cafés. L'espace est sublime, les employés sont accueillants & que dire de leur limonade à la pêche ou encore celle à la lavande, les meilleures du quartier. En plus, ils ont un club de course le mercredi matin à 6:00. C'est super!
Si vous êtes à Montréal & que vous cherchez un café avec d'excellents cafés, une ambiance chaleureuse & une belle énergie pour bien commencer la journée, le Café Magda est l'endroit parfait. En plus de servir du café de grande qualité, ils ont aussi un club de course exceptionnel appelé 6am, dont je fais partie & que je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui veulent bouger dès le matin entourés de belles personnes.
J'ai déjà travaillé plusieurs fois sur place & je peux dire que l'environnement est idéal : Wi-Fi rapide, espace confortable pour travailler & une équipe toujours attentionnée. L'endroit est un bel équilibre entre convivialité & productivité. Que ce soit pour un café entre amis, une course matinale ou du télétravail, Magda est un excellent choix.

I recently moved to Verdun & stumbled upon Café Magda, which is a lovely 20 minute bike ride from my place. The glowing reviews convinced me to try it, & I'm so glad I did! Their sandwich déjeuner is absolutely delicious, & the coffee is rich. It's such a cozy, quiet spot; truly a hidden gem in Verdun! I'll definitely be a regular here & highly recommend it!
This place is an anchor to the Bronx. Love the people that work here & the work they do to create a sense of community. (& the coffee & food is great too 😃)
When I first saw this café, I was in awe of it's beauty with the cozy & detailed esthetics. The coffee is delicious & the food is quite scrumptious! I highly recommend a visit. I am now a loyal customer that even joined their 6AM running club 😊
Très belle expérience au Café Magda. Leur personnel est accuillant, l'ambiance est bonne & la nourriture aussi. Nous y sommes allés avec ma blonde un dimanche & en avons profité pour se balader au Parc des rapides c'est très sympa.
L'endroit parfait pour un petit matcha après ta course sur le bord de l'eau, ou bien prendre l'apéro avec ton amie nouvellement maman & son tout petit, ou bien prendre un café to-go à mi-chemin de la marche avec ton chien.
