An absolute gem in Lasalle, we needed a cafe like cafe Magda here. The food is delicious, offering vegan options which is amazing (we are dairy free so having vegan pancakes on a menu is such a great thing! :) ) The omelette plate is also very good, I love the bread that comes with the plate, its a perfect mix of sweet & savoury. The latte is very good. I love the atmosphere & the decor here as well, it has a very homey feel. 10/10 recommend, great for sitting down for a meal or a coffee & a snack!
Toujours des employés qui prennent soin de nous rapidement & de grands sourires . C'est Le meilleur latte du quartier & Andree Anne est très intéressante à jaser avec ! Mon plat pref ? J'hésite entre le bagel saumon fumé & le bol Végane 💘

Nous avons souligné en famille le 85e anniversaire de la belle-maman. Chez Magda, nous sommes comme à la maison! & que dire de la nourriture! Comme végane je suis choyée & ils ont su adapter le menu selon les préférences de chacun! À refaire!
Je visite ce café de quartier depuis son ouverture en 2024 je crois.
J'ai beaucoup de respect pour ceux qui se lancent en affaire & surtout , en restauration.
Situé dans le'bronx' de Lasalle, quartier résidentiel , le café d'inspiration Hongroise est simplement décoré de petits objets sur murs blanc.
il y a des comptoirs, des table de 2, 4 ou 6 clients .
Bel endroit pour travailler.
Les clients sont des gens du quartiers, des familles & des étudiants.
L'accueil & le services sont chaleureux.
La soupe Borsch était copieuse & délicieuse.
Je n'ai pas réussi a la terminer.
J'ai mangé aussi un délicieux croissant.
J'ai pu goûter aux sandwich déjeuner ainsi qu'à quelques salades.
Si vous avez quelques années derrière la cravate comme moi, vous reconnaîtrez la belle vaisselle que votre mère utilisait pour vous servir votre Grilled cheese :-)
Une bouteille d'eau est automatiquement offerte.
Le café sans surprise est excellent.
La plupart du temps je commande un cappuccino avec une viennoiserie.
Petite musique alternative qui ne tombe pas sur les nerfs pour l'ambiance.
Ils ont aussi des 4 a 7 durant l'été ou vous pourrez découvrir des vins natures d'excellente qualité a bons prix.
Ils organisent de belles soirées comme la plus récente qui etait un souper vegan avec vins natures & des bières sans alcool.
Cet endroit est devenu des ma premiere visite un des mes préférés de mon quartie

I ordered the vegan smoked salmon bagel & fruit pancakes. At first I was taken aback by the prices but after eating the food, I can say the quality is very good. They are using higher quality ingredients which accommodates the higher price. I also had an espresso. It was just okay. I'm not a fan of the Montréal style coffee. Sour & tart. The atmosphere is lovely. Very relaxing. All in all a nice addition to the Bronx. If they could add some lower price light items that would be great.
Trésor de café niché dans le Bronx, à LaSalle. Parfait pour travailler, venir avec les enfants ou pour discuter. Les quiches sont savoureuses, il y a même des options vegan un peu partout dans le menu. Il n'y a rien qui se compare dans l'arrondissement, si vous voulez un coin chaleureux pour travailler.
J'adore ce café ! Non seulement le café est excellent, mais ils ont aussi une sélection d'options véganes qui le rendent vraiment unique. Des lattes à base de plantes aux délicieuses pâtisseries véganes, chaque produit est soigneusement préparé avec des ingrédients de qualité. On sent qu'ils se soucient à la fois du goût & de la durabilité, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. Que vous soyez vegans ou que vous vouliez simplement essayer quelque chose de différent, cet endroit est à ne pas manquer. Je le recommande vivement!

I have been to Cafe Magda several times & have had a great experience each time, which keeps me coming back for more. There is always good music playing, & walking in feels like a hug from an old friend. The employees are helpful & friendly, & happy to serve in either English or French. There is an entire area dedicated to children, which makes it an ideal brunch spot for families. The vegan options here are on point. All the viennoiseries/items in the glass case are vegan & there are thoughtful seasonal items included. As for the brunch menu, you can't go wrong but the vegan omelette is to die for, in my humble opinion. I cannot recommend this cafe enough!
We found this wonderful cafe a 5 minute walk from our vacation stay. This place was so good & so quaint that we went two days in a row! Our first day, the barista was so kind & friendly & switched to English immediately once he found out that we were from the U.S. He even wrote down a few restaurant recommendations in the area for us! We both ordered a machiato with oatmilk. It was a little strong but I think we're use to it a little differently in the U.S. We both ordered the Smoked Salmon Bagel but asked for vegan cream cheese (made from cashews). It had a sesame bagel (from a local bakery), capers, red onion & a lemon wedge. The bagel was soft & chewy & the sandwich itself was wonderful. The second day we both got a mochaccino with oat milk. More our taste & it was very good, just a hint of chocolate, not too sweet. He ordered the seasonal herb & vegetable omelet, apple maple sausage, smashed potatoes, cinnamon raisin bread & homemade jam. I had the smoothie bowl with sliced nectarine, granola, chia seeds & hemp hearts, with toasted coconut & cashew butter. You can tell everything is homemade! I also got a chocolate filled croissant! All their pastries & baked goods are vegan! I wish there was a cafe like this near me. I would give them all my money!
I first visited here with a friend when they first opened & loved it. Then fast forward 2 months later & I moved into the area & Magda became my local Cafe. ♡ It is such a welcoming cafe, perfect for bringing your littles as they have toys at the back & chalk to use out front for their enjoyment. It is quite small for strollers, but I have been lucky scooting in between tables with mine (& everyone seems happy to have a baby around!) The food is divine. Their pastries are vegan & are sooooo good. The pesto chicken sandwich is my fav! I also love how the owner is willing to step out & chat with her guests ♡ I look forward to attending their 5-7 evening soon, & hope to play some music for them in the future! ♡ Congrats on the lovely little place, I can't wait to see you grow!

Le cortado est délicieux & en tant qu'intolérent au lactose, j'adore leurs patisserie veganes! Ambiance décontracte, parfait pour travailler quand on veut changer d'air!
Ce café est super génial. La nourriture est excellente & l'ambiance donne chaud au coeur. Ils servent des options végétariennes & véganes, sont "kid friendly", ont une excellente liste de lecture musicale & sont à un pas du fleuve. C'est parfait pour une journée de travail aussi.
Crazy good vegan options, all the pastries are vegan. Highly recommend the brunch on weekends, but really just go anytime, it's cute, near the water, delicious & vegan friendly!
