I finally had the chance to try this place & I loved it! The atmosphere is beautiful & cozy. We tried the quiche, matcha, coffee, & a couple of desserts & everything was tasty & super fresh. I can't wait to come back on the weekend for brunch!

Literally walked down the street & BOOM, cute café that's been hiding from me like it's in witness protection.
Walked in & immediately got hit with boho chic, vintage, grandma who travels vibes. There's an old piano just sitting there like it's waiting to drop an EP.
I ordered a smoothie bowl & a sesame bagel with salmon, & tell me why it looked like it belonged in a food magazine?? Garnish? On point. Aesthetic? Chef's kiss. The latte came with art on top (because duh, we're fancy huh).
Now listen… she accidentally gave me a cold latte first. But it's 30 degrees outside, so that's understandable. But me? I'm a hot-latte-in-the-summer kinda rebel. She remade it like a true barista queen & apologized with kindness in her soul.
The salmon bagel though? Life CHANGING. I will be back. Brunch is on weekends, & I'm not the type to turn down brunch unless I'm cramping on my menstrual or sick.
Perfect spot to bring your laptop, fake like you're working, or pretend you're in a European café film while softly tapping the piano. 10/10 would vibe again. 🎹☕🍓
J'ai découvert cet endroit grâce à une amie maman du quartier. Nous organisons souvent des réunions de maman ici. Les boissons & les patisseries sont toutes bonnes ! Le brunch du week-end est incroyable ! Le personnel est accueillant. L'endroit est confortable & ils ont également un espace pour enfants avec des jouets, ce qui est très pratique lorsque vous avez un enfant en bas âge . Je vois souvent d'autres enfants donc c'est bien pour eux de se faire des amis. Nous y allons presque chaque semaine & je le recommande fortement !
I discovered this place because of a mom friend in the neighbourhood. We often do mom's get together here. Drinks & treats are all good! Weekend brunch is amazing! Staff are welcoming. Place is cozy & they also have a kids area with toys that is very handy when you have a wild toddler. I see other kids often so it's good for them to make friends. We go mostly each week & i strongly recommend!
I have been to Cafe Magda several times & have had a great experience each time, which keeps me coming back for more. There is always good music playing, & walking in feels like a hug from an old friend. The employees are helpful & friendly, & happy to serve in either English or French. There is an entire area dedicated to children, which makes it an ideal brunch spot for families. The vegan options here are on point. All the viennoiseries/items in the glass case are vegan & there are thoughtful seasonal items included. As for the brunch menu, you can't go wrong but the vegan omelette is to die for, in my humble opinion. I cannot recommend this cafe enough!

J'adore cet endroit!!! Café super bon, sandwich incroyable & a bon prix!! Brunch la fds & les jeudi kat à set avec une petite mousse ou verre de vins!!! C'est ca qui manquait dans le Bronx depuis longtemps!!
Enfin, un bon café familial ! Ce café de quartier manquait dans le Bronx à LaSalle ! Il est rare de trouver un endroit aussi beau, calme & chaleureux, où l'on peut travailler tout en amenant nos enfants. Je me sens tellement chanceuse d'avoir découvert votre établissement si près de chez moi. À proximité du bord de l'eau, du parc des Rapides & de Verdun, c'est un emplacement idéal ! :) Je suis ravie & je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui veulent déguster un bon café, bruncher le week-end ou savourer un repas rapide.
