NOT A PLACE TO GO WORK FROM. When there's to get a coffee & wait for my son was told l had to take the table in the middle since I was going to work on a computer which provides zero privacy for work when there was an empty small table against the wall available. If I've known that I would've choose a different place. I just wasted money & my time.

Such a cozy coffee shop! The service was great, & the lady working was really nice. The matcha was delicious, & it was wonderfully quiet on a rainy evening. A perfect spot to relax & enjoy a warm drink. Highly recommended!
I came here to study & I usually love this café, but I was really disappointed with my last visit. I paid $7 for my coffee, sat at the'laptops only' communal table for about an hour, & when my laptop needed charging, I plugged it in at another spot. A barista then told me I couldn't sit there with my laptop unless the screen was turned off, even though I wasn't using it & was sitting right beside it. No one had mentioned this rule when I ordered, & the situation felt confusing & unwelcoming. I ended up leaving & felt like my time was wasted.
If you dont want students to come study then tell them before they order!!
Also, the posted winter hours in-store are incorrect on Google it doesn't open until 9 pm,

I got an ice latte & it was really delicious, I visit alot of cafes in Montreal & I have to say, finally seeing a cafe not filled with people on their laptop is amazing.
Alot of people writing reviews of not using laptop to me is pretentious, doing research on a cafe that IS or ISN'T a study cafe is important. Every cafe that I go to is filled with people that study on their laptops for 5 hours a day & occupy seats.
They don't realize how much time they take on a table & space- many cafes I go to I have to walk away because it's filled with people working remote, teleworking & having meeting speaking Loud.
& it was nice to finally read a book in silence. With the sounds of just the coffee being made.
an employee (pretentiously!!!! that's the worst part) saying in the year of our lord 2025 when people work remote:'this is a no electric plug café' AFTER we ordered & PAID!!! for our (very just ok) coffee is ridiculous... BYEEE
