A lovely neighborhood café with a warm, welcoming vibe. They serve excellent house-brewed coffee & fantastic breakfast sandwiches. The croissant sandwich was simple & delicious. A great local spot for a quiet morning or a quick bite.

Jadis agréable, le Brûloir n'est plus accueillant. L'espace «ordi» est limité à la table centrale & on se fait avertir comme dans une école si on désobéit, même s'il reste 13 places libres dans le commerce. Le nouvel ameublement est en plywood, j'ai vu des bancs d'église plus confortables. J'aimais ce café de proximité, j'irai ailleurs à l'avenir.

horrible service at this place
cashier was some dead eye'd girl that did not say hello smile or even acknowledge my order, I was surprised when she turned the machine over & just walked away without a word

even the girl making the coffee when I tried getting her attention from barely 2 feet away from her she tried her hardest to ignore me & when i finally got her to look at me she said they don't have any alternatives for sugar & quickly walked away…What kind of coffee shop does not have splenda even Tim Hortons can live up to that standard

final cherry on top is the coffee sucked, tasted kind of rusty

go to tim hortons instead you'll have a better time

Excellent coffee in a quiet, charming residential neighborhood. A hidden gem 💎 that became our regular coffee spot while we're in Montreal. They also have excellent viennoiseries & service is always great. After your coffee, make sure you take a stroll on rue Fleury, where you will find excellent restaurants, boutiques, gift shops, artisan bakeries, specialty food stores & even a lovely flower shop.

Un charmant petit café où l'on est accueilli avec le sourire. Le personnel est chaleureux & attentionné, & la petite terrasse, joliment décorée de fleurs, est un vrai coup de coeur. On sent que chaque détail a été pensé avec beaucoup de goût. Je recommande cet endroit sans la moindre hésitation !
