Unfortunately, despite this being a frequent favourite of our family, this was the second poor experience. Upon arrival, in advance 15 minutes for a 1230 table, I was admonished for being too early. I was advised to wait elsewhere & come back. Not politely - abrasive & frankly rude. Upon my return at 1225, the host seated three couples who arrived AFTER me. Seated & waiting an eternity for water. Upon arrival of my guest, the same host hovered waiting for us to order (no time to decide). The meal finished & the restaurant 80% empty, we waited 20 minutes for our dirty plates to be removed. We ordered cappuccinos & the dessert trio each. The coffee arrived quickly, the dessert trio 15 minutes later - coffee finished. Very, very poor service. Very unfortunate for such a previously excellent establishment. This was the second poor visit in a row. Looking for a new destination. Best regards
Très bon restaurant, le service est parfait, la nourriture est très bonne & l'ambiance est excellente. Le prix reflète très bien la qualité que vous recevrez lors de votre visite. Endroit a visiter c'est sur.
Food was absolutely amazing. For starter we had oysters & the lobster french toast - both excellent. For main I had the Beef Tenderloin topped with Foie Gras & it was the best tenderloin I've had anywhere. I think the Foie Gras really just took it to the next level & that's not a typically available steak topping where I'm from. The servers were all friendly & very helpful & we needed some help because we didn't speak much French. Definitely would recommend & I wished we had gone here earlier in our trip so we could go again.
Le repas était très bon mais nous avons commandé 2 verres des vin blanc de 9oz à $70 pour les 2 & ils sont arrivés déjà versés dans le carafons sans qu'on ait vu les bouteilles. À ce prix, il est préférable de verser le vin à la table.
Excellente soirée nous avons été très bien reçu le service du sommelier Jordan était parfait ces suggestions étaient en plein dans nos goûts! La nourriture était excellente le seul point faible je dirais était la quantité du risotto par contre le gout était divin ! Bel endroit belle ambiance excellent service gout dans l'assiette je le recommande fortement
Les plats étaient bons, même si la portion de poisson était un peu petite. J'étais toutefois déçu de ne pas pouvoir commander de dessert. Il y avait pourtant des choix de desserts sur le menu du midi sur internet.
Excellent. Rien à redire, le cadre du restaurant est très beau, le service est impeccable & la cuisine est délicieuse. Nous y sommes allés un midi & c'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande fortement.
What a lovely evening at this delightful restaurant in the Hotel St Germaine in Montreal. Four of us chose different meals from the menu & we were all delighted. Rack of lamb, lobster French toast, mushroom ravioli, lobster risotto...all were uniquely presented & delicious! Excellent service. Outstanding desserts ( one with mushroom powder that was to die for!). This restaurant is underutilized which is a shame. One of the best meals we have had in Montreal. Highly recommend!
We had a nice dinner at Le Boulevardier. Though the menu is pretty limited, most of our food was very good. Lobster toast was OK, though had onions which were not listed on the menu. Duck confit Witt foie gras was good though not at all what I expected based on the menu description & was basically a duck meatball. Oysters were so-so & they did not have cocktail sauce. Tenderloins with grill foie gras were good, though one was a bit overcooked. Good meal overall, though slightly overpriced. Service was fine.

Je me rends dans ce restaurant chaque 1er juin afin de célébrer un évènement spécial : quel bonheur à chaque année ! L'équipe est juste parfaite, du service à la cuisine en passant par de magnifiques conseils sur les vins & spiritueux. L'équipe prend le temps de discuter avec vous & contribue de faire de votre repas un moment unique & spécial. Mention spéciale à Jordan pour ses conseils en vin, à Amélie & Nicolas pour leur service parfait ; ils ont également su animer notre soirée festive avec élégance & bonne humeur. Que ce soit pour un évènement, un repas d'affaire ou tout simplement pour découvrir de la bonne gastronomie, je recommande les yeux fermés.
Lovely spot, great staff, "slow" dining experience. Lunch menu is the best food for value otherwise you may find portions small. Everything tasted good, but I've had better beef carpaccio. The table bread is fresh & went well with the burrata.
Délicieux! Nous avons adorés les pétoncles en entrée 👌 comme plat principal, le filet de boeuf était parfaitement cuit 🤤 & le sorbet rhubarbe & fraise en dessert était vraiment exquis !!
