Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Jarret de Prosciutto FANTASTIQUE! Ça font dans la bouche....pas besoin de couteau. Gnocchis maison succulant, frites a l'aneth delicieuses. Service impeccable. Nous avons réservé tôt pour éviter la foule & nous avons bien fait. Atmosphère festive, surtout en bas près du bar. Plus tranquille en haut tôt dans la soirée. Bref, nous étions très satisfaits!

Le service était bon ainsi que le repas, nous avons été servis rapidement & avec le sourire. Toutefois, nous avions réservé pour le premier service, soit à 18:15 & dès 19:15, ils ont commencé à nous rappeler que nous devions partir avant le deuxième service à 20:30. Je trouve ça dommage, cette façon d'agir est un peu désagréable!

Belle formule, service excellent, bonne bouffe bien que le plat servi était plutôt tiede que chaud.

Le service & la nourriture sont tout simplement excellents ! C'était une première expérience & ce ne sera pas la dernière ! J'y suis allée en milieu de semaine, mais on m'a donné de bons commentaires pour l'ambiance le jeudi soir & aussi la terrasse ... bien hâte que le temps chaud arrive :)
