The brick wall that disguised the front door was cool & fun at first, but once I got passed that, the whole thing felt a bit like a gimmick just to get me inside. Ideally, there should be some amusing follow up that matches the intrigue of the brick walled entrance. Once you get downstairs, there should have been a cool & authentic speakeasy experience that throws us back to the 1930's, but instead we're welcomed to loud pop music, odd service, & mediocre drinks. By the way, there's a hidden brown button on the wall, directly to your left as you walk inside that opens the brick wall door.

The bartender Guy made our night, super welcoming, explains everything, amazing service, attentive to details & knows very well what he's doing! Je suis venue un mercredi soir pour voir le show burlesque, l'ambiance était vraiment sympa & les serveurs de qualité. Les cocktails sont très originaux. Très belle soirée dans l'ensemble !

A very charming speakeasy-style bar with an optional fun murder mystery game! The drinks are creative, delicious, & beautifully presented, with a wide variety of cocktails available to suit different tastes. They also offer mocktail versions of some of their drinks!
3 of us came here to play the mystery & also enjoy some drinks. Both their alcoholic & non-alcoholic options were amazing. To add to the experience, the mystery was so much fun & we had such an interactive time trying to solve it. When we succeeded the staff also gave us a round of "small cocktail like shots". A very beautiful & well worth it speakeasy!
Want to cool off in the summer like James Bond with a Vesper? This is the place. Hospitality is through the roof if you can get past the intimidating door man but the server is charming in a devilish kind of way. Guy would be your guide to sin as he's the manager as well as the host of the free burlesque show offered there every Sunday & Wednesday (10 minute of performance at 9:30, & another 10 min performance at 10:50). They offer live piano at Tuesday & live jazz band on Thursday, so don't worry if you cannot catch the burlesque. Light appetizers are served but nothing fulfilling otherwise. The cocktails are priced at 17$ with tax & tip is 18% which rounds out to about 20$ a cocktail, so sip slowly. However the entrance is not wheelchair accessible, which is an unfortunate downside. The place is chic, professional, & suspire the definition of "mystery" in every facet of their existence. Highly recommended for a late night getaway.
The best way to experience this bar is (1) With 2-4 friends you can solve the mystery with; (2) By coming on a Wednesday or Sunday around 8pm, before the burlesque show; (3) Not on an empty stomach. The cocktails are very good, but the vibes & the service are even better. Treasure them. Doing all the cocktails & food, with 2 people only, the bill will be in the triple digits.
J'ai adoré mon expérience! Je suis sobre depuis presque trois ans & j'ai été surprise par la fantastique cartes de mocktails. Je me sens souvent''left out'' dans les endroits festifs, mais ce n'a été le cas cette fois-ci. Mon groupe & moi avons adoré résoudre l'énigme & tout monde y a trouvé son compte pour les breuvages, ainsi que la nourriture. Nous prévoyons y retourner quand l'énigme va changer, merci énormément pour votre excellent travail pour faire vivre d'aussi belle expérience à vos clients & clientes!
Nous y allions pour un spectacle immersif : une pièce de théâtre avec une thématique correspondant à l'époque & l'ambiance des lieux. C'était intéressant & engageant. Les boissons étaient bonnes & du pop corn avec soupçon de curry & caramel nous était servis. Sympa! Belle expérience!
10 10 10s across the board for the atmosphere in general. Our server Guy was beyonce entertaining. A beam of positive & bright energy. It's contagious. We saw 2 burlesque shows & we had fun solving the murder mystery game. He was the highlight of our visit to Montreal. Highly recommend this place.
Quelle belle découverte. Le serveur connait ses cocktails & nous a fait de bonnes recommandations selon chacun.e.s . L'ambiance est vraiment chill, on s'entend parler, il y a un décor thématique. Les cocktails sont bons & recherchés. L'énigme ajoute un vrai plus pour passer un bon moment. Une belle expérience à faire! :)
