Le 409 propose une belle gamme de plats indiens classiques avec une sélection de délicieuses créations fusion. La nourriture est correcte. Par contre, le service en revanche est clairement à revoir. Tu n'as même pas le temps de finir ton verre ou ton assiette que le serveur te l'enlève. Tu lui demandes de te laisser manger en paix mais il continue à te débarrasser pour "faire de la place". Laisse nous manger tranquillement non ?! & quand tu essaies de leur faire une critique constructive en fin de repas, ils n'assument pas leur comportement & remets la faute sur le client. Jamais vu ça!! Passez votre chemin, il y a de bien meilleures places sur cette rue.Voir plus
I have been to this location multiple times & I have enjoyed it every single time. They offer great selection of Indian fusion cuisine with friendly service. They also offer good variety of cocktails. They offer Raita, onions with tomato sauce served with cumin papadum as a welcome. We ordered Chana Samosa & Bhajee d'Oignons for appetizers & Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Lamb Biryani for entrée. I enjoyed every bite of our food & my favorite was Lamb Korma; it has a sweet taste that I don't normally go for, but was very delicious.Voir plus
Dined here because someone said the butter chicken was the best thing they've ever eaten. The spice flavors were delicious, & chicken was not overcooked, but the sauce was very, very sweet... I suspect maple syrup. The garlic naan was delicious, as was the ginger lemonade.Voir plus

Overall I had a great time. Staff with nice, & food generous & comforting. Signature cocktails are really enjoyable, well balanced. They could use a finer choice of glass. Tikka chicken was flavorful, but a bit dry. I'm sure it depends on the meat, maybe a brine could help. Thanks for having me, I'll be sure to come back & try other entrees.Voir plus

Un repas que je n’oublierais pas de sitôt !
Très bonne ambiance, restaurant pleins mais pourtant très intimiste, la musique était bonne & le service plus que bon & courtois, tous étaient très gentils & nous on servis de la meilleure des manières.
Concernant la nourriture, c’était une explosion de saveurs, des cocktails aux plats, un menu avec plusieurs choix, nous avions pris plusieurs plats différents à partager & tous étaient plus bons les uns que les autres!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The place was full & it felt good to see so many people enjoying Indian food in Montreal. However the food was no where close to Indian, everything was overly sweet (& this is after me asking for the highest level of spice possible) so as an Indian the food felt weird.
At one point I did enjoy the butter chicken poutine as a French-Indian dish & it worked in my head for a bit. What I loved were the cocktails. Really nice ambience too.Voir plus

Nous sommes venues 1 samedi soir du mois d août sans avoir réservé. On nous a trouvé 1 table bien placée. Très joli décor. Personnel très sympathique & souriant.
