Beautiful bar with wood all around that gives the place a very warm & cozy atmosphere. The ambiance is really nice & relaxing, perfect for spending time with friends. The service was excellent-staff were friendly, attentive, & professional. Definitely a place I would come back to
Bald french bartender gave preferential treatment to skinny blonde white girl. Had to explicitly demand our cheque. Wouldn't let anyone play the house piano.

The vibe of this place is great ! Very easy going but the ambiance is still great. Bartenders are very friendly & their drinks are great -prices are reasonable !
Excellent bar to watch games! Great big projector as well as other TVs all over. It's advisable to come early before a match to make sure to grab a seat.
Il y a 2 étages pour les tables, la bière il y a de la commerciale & un peu de microbrasserie. J'ai pris une de mes meilleures guiness à vie dans ce bar. Il y a même un piano pour ceux qui veulent faire des mini spectacles.
Endroit un peu huppé & français. Ne parler pas trop politique ici, les tables voisines ont des oreilles & les esprits de gauche s'échauffe. Il fait bon d'y aller en soirée l'été quand il y a une petite brise qui entre dans le bar. Le service y est excellent? Difficile de stationner dans ce secteur de la ville avec le RVE & Mont-Royal réservée aux pietons.

Bonjour ! C'est de loin le bar le plus convivial à Montreal ! En solo ou entre ami.e.s, on y trouve une atmosphère détendue. Bon choix musical (à tendance chansons françaises , soul ,) sans étouffer les conversations. Vraiment un endroit chaleureux
Jean the bar tender has excellent taste in music & makes a good dirty martini. We had fun chatting, the music level was nice at the bar (a bit too loud under the speakers by the mirror).

Ce bar & pour un lieu magique. Je suis un habitué, & j'adore l'ambiance ! La musique & toujours adapter & varié. Extra point pour Emma, une des meilleure serveuse que j'ai eu le plaisir d'avoir !
Came out to Bar L’Barouf for a drink with my friends. We ordered espresso martinis, they were not the best. The bartender put heavy cream & a pack of sugar into the martini, it felt like an iced coffee with vodka. The bartender was also a little awkward when we asked questions about the area we were heading into (old Montreal) later in the night. Strange place when it’s not busy, we did like that it was open late though!
