We were greeted by the most amazing host/server Mayghann. She was extremely knowledgeable of the food & wine, & gave us the best recommendations for beer, appetizers, entrees & dinner! All the while having the best personality! The food was phenomenal, & the service was some of the best I've ever seen (& this is coming from a top professional of the service industry myself). I would recommend anyone & everyone to eat here! You will not regret it.
Be aware-they actually charge you if you take the'free' candies, which is pretty misleading. On top of that, the attitude is really off. The staff look at you like they're somehow superior, which makes the whole experience uncomfortable. Definitely not a welcoming place.
Honestly, I'd rate this 0 stars if I could. A serious lack of respect from this place. They just lost two customers who happily went next door instead. & surprisingly, no French spoken at all.
This place clearly needs to learn what'respect' means. They just lost two customers. If you want to be disrespected, go there.
I would like to put 0 stars but i can't unfortunately. These guys should learn the definition of the term'respect' because they just lost 2 customers who actually went to the right next door restaurant. These guys don't even speak french, what an irony.
If you are looking at the reviews debating whether or not to go, I would strongly advise to. The food & the service are both excellent so you won't regret it!
Had a phenomenal time! Amazing service, extremely nice owner & delicious food. Definitely spin by if you're in the area!
Amazing service & food, beautiful setting, extensive & solid wine list. The very attentive personnel makes the experience a delight, & the piano nights ( Friday & Saturday) really sets the tone. PS: the Digby sourced scallops are a bliss, cooked to perfection.
The interior design was elegant & exquisite, creating a truly beautiful & sophisticated atmosphere. The live piano music made the whole dining experience feel even more special & memorable. The service was amazing - attentive, professional, & warm from beginning to end. The seafood was absolutely delicious, the wine selection was excellent, & the dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. One of the best dining experiences in Montreal.
Big YIKES. My partner & I (visibly queer) walked into this restaurant after looking up good French restaurants & seeing their menu. We went inside & right away were thrown off by the weird energy. There was one table yet the waiter had to go do a loop to go to if he could seat us. After seeing all the reviews about the blatant racism it makes sense as it was giving homophobia. Save your money & walk down the street to Weinstein & Gavino's- immaculate vibes, immaculate service. Ask for Sebastian- you're welcome!
