I visited from Moncton,NB. The food was amazing. I ordered Chole Bhature & masala chai. Along with that my friend ordered Kulcha & chole too. Everything was good. Tariq was helping us & he went above & beyond to make sure we enjoy the meal. Also suggested few places to visit in Montreal. Good service.

One of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants I've tried in Montreal. The food was fresh, full of authentic flavors, & the service was warm & welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home. Definitely coming back!

Good quality, tasty vegetarian Indian food. The dahi puri explodes with flavour in your mouth. Outstanding kulfi (ice cream) made in-house. Try the thali combination dishes.

Everything was excellent. Food tastes like homemade & EVERYTHING just the right amount. Reasonable price for the quantity is another plus point. We definitely come back.
We tried almost 90% Indian restaurant around Montreal area, here is on top ten.
Second visit we had Vada paw & Paneer khathi roll, same experience. Everything was great & staff were very welcoming specially Anousheh, very caring & professional.

Quick & really friendly service, great recommendations for the food. We got to try some items we've never seen before from the'street eats' section of the menu. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return

I was so excited to try out Lala Masala as it is close to my work & hotel but I am so disappointed about the service provided to me. I asked the waitress about no onion-garlic options. She told me to order goal gappa (paani puri) that she confirmed will be made without onion & garlic. I asked multiple times informing I do not eat onion & garlic. As she confirmed, I ordered. I ate 4 paani puri out of the 8 delivered, then I noticed onion pieces in puri stuffing. I checked & raw cut onions were in all the puri masala. I called waitress, a different lady came this time. I explained the situation & asked for replacement. She literally brings me 4 goal gappa only. In a way, I get half order of what I had originally ordered. They did not give bill before asked me to swipe card so I paid tip without knowing they charged me for goal gappa also. Receipt gets printed after card is processed. I saw receipt in case & I am still surprised they did not even have curtsey to make replacement order with full 8 paani puri but they charged me full price for 8 paani puri, as if they delivered full dish what I ordered. Food was good but if there is 0 star, I would give 0 star for my expereince with service. At least, I take out 1 star for each of these - 1) I do not eat onion-garlic even otherwise & this was 9th day of gupt navratri, very auspicious day that I ended up eating onions during Navratri, 2) they did not deliver full dish of what I ordered - no onion-garlic full plate of paani puri, 3) they charged me for the paani puri. 4) I paid tip, at least at that time they should have accepted their mistake & offered something to make up for their mistake.

You have restored our trust once again. The quality & quantity of your food are outstanding, & the professionalism & friendliness of your staff are truly unmatched. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. In our opinion, this is the best restaurant in all of Montreal. Highly recommended!
