If you haven't visited Lala Masala yet, you're truly missing the taste your soul deserves.
Im not even vegetarian & wow!! I've had the best dining experience & super happy to have this North Indian culinary experience in the West Island.
I shared with a friend the following plates
& I recommend you do too
Appetizers Papri Chaat - it's like crispy bread on the bottom with sweet yogurt & chutney an amazing blend & not too spicy ! Mild. Price $10
Honey chilli fries $10 are excellent with the Chaap tandoori ( soy seasoned tandoori spices comes Smokey hot with peppers $12
Samosas $2.50 so fresh
Dessert: rabri galaby crispy donut swirls with a crème fresh like topping with chai.. SO AMAZING
I haven't tried the curries but apparently it's a must so next time :) MUST TRY you will not be disappointed & Alvaro service was awesome! Super helpful fast & informative :)
For our mother's birthday, our whole family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed the food & the excellent service where the waiter went out off the way to accommodate our requests. The quality of the food is well spiced & freshly made. in addition the indian street food taste replicates well what we are used to in India.. They are newcomers to the Montreal scene hope they maintain the quality & service. Wishing them good luck.

Really nice pure vegetarian place with authentic flavors & a cozy ambiance. The food isn't overly spicy, which I really appreciated.
Tried chaat papdi, vada pav, pav bhaji, veg cheese cutlet, & Bombay sandwich-all were tasty & well-balanced. The juices were a highlight, especially for that nostalgic, fresh taste. Mojito & lemon soda were refreshing too.
Moong dal halwa was delicious, & the'shaadi wali coffee' was a nice touch to end the meal.
Prices are genuine & worth it for the quality.
Overall, a great spot for simple, authentic vegetarian food. Would definitely visit again!
