About us

Neighborhood restaurant, offering imaginative local cuisine prepared with quality ingredients.

Previously found at this address was a fire station exclusive to Shop Angus. Today, it is still a barrack but one where we eat, converted into trendy bar-restaurant and friendly.

Behind the red brick facade: a high ceiling, a subdued atmosphere with an industrial feel. Outside, the terrace reveals a great chic space for meeting friends.

🖋Le menu du soir ..le LOUP DE MER ...délicieux & quelle presentation ...sur une planche de bois ...un citron grillé ...🤩 De quoi se " lécher les babines "
🖋L'entrée ....salade Labarake ...tout aussi suave
🖋 Le tout sur une terrasse qui respecte la distanciation
🖋Roberto , notre serveur a agrémenté notre soirée.
🖋La fêtée a reçu un gâteau avec une chandelle étincelante..

J'ai pris le fish & chips & quoique très bon, j'ai trouvé la panure grasse. Sinon tout le reste du menu est parfait. & le service hier soir était top top top! Merci à notre serveur (reconverti car travaillait pour Air Canada; covid oblige) il m'a épatée, moi qui de nature est un peu difficile. Très satisfaite.

2e visite depuis le déconfinement. Excellent ! Bon respect des nouvelles normes sanitaires. Employés souriants. J'ai tres bien mangé (huitre a 1$ + Steak-Frite). Bon vin rosée. Tres belle soirée. Jamais 2 sans 3.

Nous avons adoré notre passage au restaurant la Barake . Bien que nous ayons été nombreux à souper, pour fêter l'anniversaire d'un de nos amis, tout y était. L'accueil, le service, la propreté .. notre serveur Mathieu a été à l'écoute de toutes nos demandes . Merci au gérant / patron & à toute l'équipe ..au nom des 13 personnes qui étaient à ma table . À très très bientôt
PS: la terrasse est juste magnifique!!
