Previously found at this address was a fire station exclusive to Shop Angus. Today, it is still a barrack but one where we eat, converted into trendy bar-restaurant and friendly.

Behind the red brick facade: a high ceiling, a subdued atmosphere with an industrial feel. Outside, the terrace reveals a great chic space for meeting friends.

That's one of my favorite places in Angus. Parking is easy, Food is great, staff is good. That's a nice place for family, our medium group of people.

Veiny steaks, terrible squash cinnamon soup & mushy fish & chips. Understaffed, had our drinks after meal was finished. Had to hunt for salt, pepper & condiments.

Ordered delivery. Food was delicious. Also came in aluminum trays so was easy to keep warm in the oven.

Ravioli homard & gnocchi pesto. Very rich. Very good ingredients. Slight zest of lemon really brightened up both dishes.

Next time I'm in Montreal, will need to go in person.

Cliente fidèle depuis plus d' une décennie, Labarake ne déçoit jamais. J'ai fais découvrir ce restaurant a plusieurs amis, nous y passons toujours un bon moment .

Typiquement montréalais:
Situé dans une ancienne caserne de pompiers & priorisant une cuisine du terroir québécois, c'est un restaurant idéal pour une rencontre d'affaires, tout comme pour une rencontre entre amis.

Ambiance:
Énergique & moderne , plats toujours frais , service prompt. Pour le prix & le déplacement, on s'attend a cela- & c'est ce que l'on a .

Menu:
Je prend toujours un plateau d'huîtres, très fraîches & petites (ce que j'aime). En groupe, nous aimons parfois découvrir des nouveaux plats végétariens ou de viande, & partager pour goûter a tout.

Un effort de présentation est aussi fait pour les plats plus travaillés, ce qui démontre le sérieux de l'équipe en cuisine. C'est apprécié .

Lors de ma dernière visite, nous avons profité de la terrasse extérieure & avons mangé sous le soleil d'été. Nous avons opté, outres les huitres, pour des découvertes végétariennes, en voici les photos

Pour un anniversaire d'une vingtaine de personnes, nous avons été choyés avec un accueil des plus chaleureux
Ambiance parfaite pour un groupe! Le service pour la réservation & l'organisation avec Joey a été un charme. Que dire de la très gentille & professionnelle Sophia , qui a apporté un gros plus à notre soirée ! Merci à toute l'équipe!
