Previously found at this address was a fire station exclusive to Shop Angus. Today, it is still a barrack but one where we eat, converted into trendy bar-restaurant and friendly.
Behind the red brick facade: a high ceiling, a subdued atmosphere with an industrial feel. Outside, the terrace reveals a great chic space for meeting friends.

Labarake Caserne à Manger offers a warm, stylish setting with brick walls and tasteful lighting, ample parking and a terrace, and guests consistently praise friendly service and a diverse menu that includes beef tartare, gnocchi, burrata with pears and pumpkin purée, and a satisfying poutine or burger. The ambiance is not too loud, making it suitable for groups and celebrations, while the overall experience is enhanced by attentive staff, a charming decor, and good value for money. While a few visits note occasional missteps on busy nights such as a lobster ravioli lacking lobster and timing issues, these instances seem to be outweighed by many positive impressions and a willingness to return.
Service impeccable, décor magnifique & nourriture sublime. Seul hic c'est l'acoustique. Mais l'expérience globale est si positive que ça s'endure amplement.
Le service était impeccable. La nourriture excellente. Le décor super beau autant dehors que dedans. Aucun écran (sport) donc pour aller manger tranquille un soir de hockey, c'est parfait!
La poutine spéciale de la Poutine Week était excellente, la décoration & le lieu en général sont très beaux. Envie d'y retourner pour d'autres occasions.

Beau décor. Par contre, endroit très bruyant & avec pratiquement aucun air climatisé (ouf, fait chaud!). Les côtes levées étaient très bonnes mais le pouding chômeur était très décevant. Service courtois mais sans plus.
Nous étions 3 personnes pour le lunch du midi. Notre expérience fut très positive sur plusieurs points. Accueil convivial & chaleureux, service efficace & attentionné, & la nourriture était excellente. Si j'ajoute l'ambiance détendu & la décoration qui est agréable avec une touche d'histoire, il est difficile de demander mieux & je le recommande fortement.
Personnel courtois, nourriture chaude & excellente, décor agréable, très confortable, service rapide.
Seul ombre au tableau, le plat principal que désirait mon conjoint n'était pas disponible de même que mon premier choix de vin.
Excellent restaurant dans un joli décor. La viande de boeuf est sublime & les tartares bien frais & assaisonnés parfaitement. Nous y retournerons pour les huitres à 1$ chacune lors du 4 à 8 du lundi au mercredi. Seul bémol: le choix des vins rouges presqu'inexistants, bien dommage...
