La Vieille Banque Restaurant opened in 1984 in the former Provincial Bank of Canada building, in Old Sainte-Rose. Originally renowned for its wood-oven pizza, the chef transformed the establishment into an Italian fine cuisine restaurant in 1995.
It is a happy coincidence that the safe was converted into a kitchen, keeping the most audacious creations of its chef secure! Today, the restaurant is very popular for its terrace and warm atmosphere, in beautiful Old Sainte-Rose. Be it during the many festivals overlooking the boulevard (Rose-Art festival, children's festival, etc.), or after a leisurely walk along the Mille-Îles River, the inquisitive ones who stop inevitably end their pleasant day in an excellent way.

Il n'y avait qu'un groupe à part nous. Le service a été rapide, la présentation du menu bonne & tout ces que nous avons mangé était délicieux.

Bon accueil. Personnel de la salle à manger avenant, à l'écoute de la clientèle. Choix variés de la table d'hôte. Morue très bien apprêtée & cuisson parfaite. Très bon service. Après plusieurs visites au fil des ans, nous n'avons jamais été déçus. PS: on peut réserver sur le net.
Scallops with blue cheese sauce was light, tasty & a treat as was the scallops dish with foie gras. Salmon cakes & escargot entrees were very good. Pasta dishes were also rated highly by guests. Our waiter, Stephan, was helpful & friendly & added to our pleasant evening.
Nice & quiet atmosphere with beautiful Italian music in the background, just loud enough to provide intimacy while being able to have a conversation. Excellent food. We add grilled octopus & Fried Zucchini flowers for entrées & it was amazing. The black cod was great & the side of pasta delicious. The service is very good, thumbs up to the nice Julie who gave us excellent recommendations. The carte des vins offers a good variety at affordable prices.
