Had a main course of ravioli stuffed with lobster that was very tasty, with impeccable fresh ingredients and even seasonings. The roaster pepper cream sauce that it was bathed in, was savourish and flavorful.
The main of my wife was a risotto accompanied with some veggies (tomatoes), squash, seasoned by a touch of olive oil and flavored with white wine. There was also some shrimp. From bites of the risotto, I found it to be ideally cooked, nicely unctuous, and above all: succulent.
Our plates had an elegant presentation too.
Service was very attentive, helpful and patient.
Decor: Contemporary, trendy.
IF THEY KEEP UP with what I saw on this dinner (great service, flawless and fresh quality food, beautiful decor), they will rise as one of the top best of this city.
Ive had the filet mignon with a wide variety on appetizers and have to say that it was succulent!
Fresh food, excellent quality and an executive chef that knows how to cook to perfection!!
Great wine list ... very good scotch (single malt) selection. Finally, the service was impeccable!
Very nice decor. The knowledge and attitude of the service staff was very good. Portions are big and in line with the cost. Nice wine list with reasonable selections. Food was fantastic. The best advise I can give you is that you should give it a try!
Excellent professional service - friendly without being too familiar.
Wonderfully prepared and presented plates - extremely flavourful without being overwhelmed by spices alone and very pleasing to the eye.
Only drawback - a bit noisy for normal conversation.
Pretty new ( less than 1 yr) on the West Island (old Java U). Staff was wonderful and knowledgeable.
They really have no freezer so all food is market fresh and it shows.
The chef (also an owner) takes a lot of pride in his work, everything we ordered was delicious.
Seems that their menu changes (our 2nd visit) with what is in the market so their offerings (menu) do not get stale.
The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the size of their portions, especially the foie gras !

Went back just yesterday, My wife and I had the lamb shank braised, really fabulous ! Sometimes quality and service declines with time...not here
Can't say enough good things , last night was a great dining experience
Absolutely love this restaurant... In fact, have to say it is definitely my favourite on the West Island. We went there again last night for probably the sixth time and my sister and her beau joined us for the first time. The ambience is warm, trendy and inviting. The service is typically first rate, although a little on the slow side last night but this is unusual.
The food is quite exceptional: Within minutes of being seated they brought a plate of warm Italian style pan bread, sundried tomatoes and black olives.... very nice. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and again were not disappointed by the quality (prepared just right) nor the portion size which was plenty for 4. My sister's boyfriend ordered the escargot as an appetizer which was served on garlic bread and he claimed was excellent. I am not fond of snails so did not sample. Then we all enjoyed the simple yet delicious house salad which is a mix of greens served with aged balsamic vinegar and olive oil. My husband who has been there more often than I (brings business associates there regularly and hosted his staff Christmas party there) ordered a dish off the menu of seafood pasta with his choice of scallops, shrimp, calarmari and baby clams served on a bed of spaghettini. He thoroughly enjoyed this dish. My sister and her boyfriend both order the Lobster stuffed ravioli which is a house staple, as their menu changes regularly but this favourite always remains. The boyfriend gave it five stars, my sister four. I savoured the fussili pasta with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and grilled chicken. This dish was divine! Naturally the meal was accompanied by freshly baked bread. Our meals were all reasonably priced.
My only criticism is this... Although they do have a wonderful and extensive wine list and their staff was well versed in suggesting a wine to accompany our meal, the wine list is quite expensive. In fact, we ordered the second least expensive wine for $65 a bottle. Yes, the wine did compliment the meal quite nicely BUT it doesn't compare with the reasonably priced dishes.
Mind you, I prefer to leave this on a positive note, as the cuisine, service, ambience and overall dining experience is well worth a visit!
Simply the "best" restaurant in the West Island..
Service is impeccable, food is outstanding and the atmosphere is excellent.
For a romantic date to a large party the place allows for it without infringing on what you are looking for!
I actually proposed there..Enjoy I know you will!
The service was outstanding. The food was noticeably fresh and the portions were generous. A little pricy but well worth it. Ambiance is very nice as well.
I will return soon
