Open since 1985, our restaurant offers a Swiss and European cuisine which is very comforting, including our traditional raclette dish. Founded in the Swiss Alps, this typical dish is offered here with the same authenticity as where it came from. La raclette, which is also the name of the cheese used for this dish comes from the action of scraping the cheese melted by a heat source to your plate. So you can enjoy this dish already prepared for you in your plate or using our oven that allows you to heat and scrape the cheese at your table. Also, in the purest tradition, this dish is served with cold meats (ham and beef) which comes from the region of Grisons in Switzerland, our pickles and pickled onions and potatoes. The quality of ingredients and simplicity are all the charm of this traditional raclette.

Moreover, apart from our traditional raclette dish, we offer a variety of other delicious dishes that stem from a long tradition of Swiss and European cuisine, such as our fondue cheese, thinly sliced veal Zurich and other delights to discover...

Small but efficient establishment, well run by friendly hostess/owner.Not a large menu,but some good choices, with the option of 2 or 3 courses.Was expecting a little more in the portion size ,especially for the price of the courses.Very attentive staff, courteous & friendly.

Has been a lovely dinner. The service was excellent & the food great. A really nice restaurant. Can recommend it 100% & the fondue is like in Switzerland. This I can really assess as being from Germany & not too far from the border.

Visiting from New York, & made a reservation online (which was really easy!). This place is beautiful from the moment you enter, & everyone is unbelievably friendly. Unfortunately, I don't speak French, but the maître d' & our waiter spoke English & very patiently explained everything to us in great detail. The food was so delicious & plentiful, I was overwhelmed. I would highly recommend La Raclette! & I will definitely be coming back!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre visite à votre restaurant. La raclette était vraiment bonne. L'ambiance agréable & les serveurs courtois & souriant. Nous y retourneront pour goûter la fondue au fromage qui avait l'air délicieuse. Le dessert au chocolat & caramel chaud était Wow.

La Raclette is our favorite Swiss restaurant in ..... North America! Although living in New York City, we make a point to have a great fondue or raclette dinner at La Raclette during each weekend-visit in Montreal (2 - 3 times a year). The food is authentic & delicious, the staff knowledgeable & very friendly, the atmosphere inviting & joyful & the price for the quality of the food very competitive.
