Open since 1985, our restaurant offers a Swiss and European cuisine which is very comforting, including our traditional raclette dish. Founded in the Swiss Alps, this typical dish is offered here with the same authenticity as where it came from. La raclette, which is also the name of the cheese used for this dish comes from the action of scraping the cheese melted by a heat source to your plate. So you can enjoy this dish already prepared for you in your plate or using our oven that allows you to heat and scrape the cheese at your table. Also, in the purest tradition, this dish is served with cold meats (ham and beef) which comes from the region of Grisons in Switzerland, our pickles and pickled onions and potatoes. The quality of ingredients and simplicity are all the charm of this traditional raclette.

Habituellement nous sommes toujours très bien servi mais cette fois il y a eu quelques "accidents". Nous avons attendu longtemps à l'entrée même si nous avions une réservation. La dame avait un air bête & semblait nous éviter & placer les autres avant nous. Le restau était plein & bien que nous comprenons qu'il est difficile d'être attentif en ce temps-là, une fois à notre table, nous avons attendu trop longtemps sans jamais avoir eu des cornichons (un oubli). Il y a eu également une erreur dans la commande de mon entrée (extra lardons était sans simplement sans lardons).
Ensuite nous avions tellement grignoter (le service long) que vers 10h45 quand nous avons reçu la fondue, nous n'avions plus d'appetit. Nous étions presque les derniers dans le restaurant & n'avions mm pas commandé notre dessert.
Nous avons dû prendre le dessert pour emporter car plus d'appetit (trop tard) & au moment du dessert take-out servi, sans faire exprès, l'hotesse a brisé notre bouteille de vin (95% pleine). Ce qui a fait un souper très dispendieux pour l'experience, nous n'avons presque pas mangé la fondue.
Le gerant est toujours très gentil & agréable à jaser de ses toiles (il a du talent), par contre, après 20ans de soupers à la raclette, c'était la 1ere fois que nous nous sentions un peu négligés.

Le restaurant La Raclette est un classique & ce n'est pas pour rien qu'il existe depuis 35 ans. Service parfait, cuisine impeccable, ambiance feutrée. L'endroit tout indiqué pour célébrer des moments importants en couple ou entre amis.
Les plats étaient très bons. Le service à la hauteur. L'ambiance chaleureuse d'un petit restaurant de quartier mais d'un grand chef aux fourneaux. Je recommande ce restaurant. Merci
Très très bon, fidèle à eux mêmes, menu variés avec spécialités raclettes & fondues fromage servis avec un personnel hors paires toujours souriants & attentif à vos besoins. Hautement recommandé, on retourne toujours après plus de 30 ans!
That treated us spectacularly well even though we were a very large group & somewhat unwieldy. Everyone loved the food & service. We all left very satisfied. Highly recommended!
had an AMAZING time at la Raclette. Had melted Raclette cheese to start & then fondue as our main. amazing & authentic. Would presume that we went through about 5 baguettes & the wait staff was definitely good about topping it up. Brought our own wine so we had a lot which is always great on a Saturday evening when you're tryna get toasted. The chocolate bomb was iconic. The wait staff were the sweetest most out of this world amazing people. I wish I could go back every day but I don't live in MTL. My bestfriend who DOES live in MTL should (& might) go back every day. I will 10000% be back next time I'm in MTL
On a passé une super soirée, la nourriture est bonne (le potage quel délice!) & les serveurs étaient attentionné même si le resto était plein. Nous reviendrons certainement, vous avez trouvé de nouveaux fan!
