Open since 1985, our restaurant offers a Swiss and European cuisine which is very comforting, including our traditional raclette dish. Founded in the Swiss Alps, this typical dish is offered here with the same authenticity as where it came from. La raclette, which is also the name of the cheese used for this dish comes from the action of scraping the cheese melted by a heat source to your plate. So you can enjoy this dish already prepared for you in your plate or using our oven that allows you to heat and scrape the cheese at your table. Also, in the purest tradition, this dish is served with cold meats (ham and beef) which comes from the region of Grisons in Switzerland, our pickles and pickled onions and potatoes. The quality of ingredients and simplicity are all the charm of this traditional raclette.

Excellent !! J'ai pris le carrée d'agneau qui était succulent & parfaitement cuit.
Le dôme en chocolat en dessert est exceptionnel !
Vraiment à conseiller.
Je mets 4 car je trouve que ceux qui ont pris la raclette, les machines ne chauffaient pas assez mais rien de grave, c'est juste un peu plus long.
Bref, vous passerez quant même un super moment.

Exactly what it's supposed to be! Cozy environment, friendly service, & yummy food. We were 4 people & shared the cheese fondue & the raclette. Chocolate dome for dessert. Everything was yummy & we left so full! A bit pricey since it's BYOE but that's to be expected. Perfect for a date night with your partner or with friends!

Wow quelle découverte! Mon nouveau resto préféré pour apprécier un repas chaud & réconfortant. L'ambiance, le service & la nourriture sont tous au top. La raclette est excellente. Beaucoup de variété (légumes, patates à volonté). 3 types de viande, 2 fromage (généreuse portion), cornichons, oignons marinés, pain. Pour le prix, ça vaut tellement la peine. En plus c'est « apportez votre vin ». S'il vous reste de la place après ce festin, il y a une auberge sélection de desserts. Le dôme au chocolat & caramel est incroyable. Endroit à essayer absolument.

My husband & I really wanted some fondue on our trip to Montréal. We found La Raclette & we are so happy we did! From the second we entered the restaurant, it seemed like all the staff genuinely enjoyed & cared about the restaurant & the customers. Everyone was so attentive & welcoming. We had the Brussels Sprouts for our appetizer & now I'm wishing I could make the dish even half as delicious as the one at the restaurant. Of course, we had fondue for our main entree & for dessert the chocolate dome filled with fruits & ice cream. Everything was delicious & ended our last night in the city perfectly. Can't wait to visit again!

Juliette was our server & she immediately made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent. I had the Gaspacho, Zurich geschnetzeltes which is the reason that I chose to come to the Raclette, in spite of being a very good dish, it was not the classic veal stew which has white wine cream sauce, the potatoes served with the meal were excellent. I adored the dessert which was a most delicious creation called chocolate dome. Totally worth the trip .

Excellente nourriture. Toutefois, les portions sont petites & les prix des desserts sont vraiment exagérés (18$ pour un dôme au chocolat & 11$ pour de la crème glacée). Sinon excellent service.

Nous étions à la Raclette dans le cadre de Montréal a table. Menu inspirant avec plusieurs choix d'entrées & de plats principaux. Au delà de la fondue ou de la raclette le restaurant propose du poisson & de la viande. Tout est très bon & bien présenté. Le service est courtois, le proprio est aux petits soins. Nous n'étions pas dans la salle principale & notre section manquait un peu d'ambiance. Ne manquez pas leur dessert signature, le fameux dôme au chocolat. Un spectacle pour l'oeil & les papilles!

A great dining experience in the neighborhoods of Montreal; away from the tourist traps. Our service was great. The staff were attentive, & very helpful in teaching us about the different menu options, They created a very comfortable, relaxed & social atmosphere. It was a great way to close the weekend after F1 race.
We enjoyed a traditional European style raclette. More than enough food. The soup was fantastic. The salmon tartare appetizer was light & flavorful. The cheese & meat options of the raclette were well paired & varied; offering different flavor combinations to sample throughout the meal. Highly recommend getting the signature dessert (Melting Chocolate Dome) to finish things off...enough for 3 to share.
We will definitely recommend & come back on our next trip to Montreal. Don't miss this gem on your next visit.

Excellent service par un personnel courtois, empressé & chaleureux. La fondue au fromage était divine & que dire du dessert signature le dôme au chocolat 72%, un pur délice! C'était notre première visite & nous y retournerons.

What a wonderful discovery ! I was on a mission to find a traditional raclette restaurant for out of town guests. Vincent was our waiter & once he had explained how the menu worked we were off ! We all had raclette which was excellent. Don't miss the chocolate bombe dessert. It is a signature piece.
I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu was as tempting as the raclette. We had wonderful attentive service & amidst all the challenges Covid presents, the staff & host/hostess did an excellent job. I can't believe in all the years I've lived in Montreal, I have never been to La Raclette. Do not miss an opportunity to try this restaurant. Raclette, fondu & hot stone dining is so much fun !

Les raclette sont fabuleuse ici! & le Dome de chocolat devin! Je pensais avoir tout vue avec les flotte glace Italien dans la liqueur ou les îles en blanc d'oeufs flottant mais ce Dome Chocolat est exceptionnel Bravo!

C'était parfait! Même à 18h il y avait une ambiance feutrée, cozy. Le staff était sympathique & content d'être là, le dessert fondant au chocolat : un délice!!! On se fait une tradition d'y aller 1x par année.

Absolutely fabulous dining experience. The food & service was exquisite. One of the best dining experiences we've had. We had butternut squash soup, followed by a delicious beet salad & finishing with the cheese fondue. The cured meats were delicious & the bread was perfect. We topped off the meal with a chocolate dome smothered in a whisky cream sauce. Wow! Would totally recommend this restaurant if you love top quality food & ambience.

Another amazing evening at La Raclette. It's really about the experience here. Warm & cosy atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff eventhough they're short handed, & the amazing food. Nice to see it at full capaciity. The onion soup & chocolate dome dessert are not to be missed!!!

Tout a été parfait! Accueil agréable & intentionné. Nous avons été servi par Maude qui a été de bon conseil pour le choix du menu & qui nous laissait tout le temps désiré entre chaque plat. Elle était très sympathique.
Nous avons pris en entrée la petite raclette qui était une très bonne portion, servie avec petite pomme de terre au four, cornichons & pain. Comme plat le poulet de Cornouaille pour moi & pour mon conjoint le veau à la zurichoise. Très bons tous les deux, cuisson également ainsi que servis avec de très bonne sauce, légumes & roestis. Que demander de mieux! Nous avons terminé avec un dessert, dôme fondant au chocolat & tarte aux aux amandes qui étaient très succulents. Donc vraiment très satisfait & nous y retournerons. Nous connaissons ce restaurant depuis des années & nous l'avons apprécié encore autant.
